Amazing, 60% of Americans approve of an indictment they haven't seen nor have they heard any testimony that led to it. What is interesting is 24% republicans supported it, 62% of independents as well as nearly all democrats. If Trump is going to successfully play the martyr, he has long way to go.

Trump handled the classified material exceptionally sloppily and haphazardly, including stashing documents in a shower, a bedroom, and—as depicted in a striking photo—onstage in a ballroom that frequently held events. Second, that Trump was personally involved in discussions about the documents, and in directing their repeated relocation. Third, that Trump was well aware of both the laws around classified documents and the fact that these particular documents were not declassified. Fourth, that Trump was personally involved in schemes to hide the documents not only from the federal government but even from his own attorneys. The indictment carefully lays out its case with pictures, texts, and surveillance footage. Fifth, Donald Trump asked his Attorney, to sign and affidavit on his behalf that all documents had been returned when he knew at least a hundred classified documents were in his possession. And six, did Donald Trump really believe he could steal hundreds of classified documents and thousands of presidential documents and the government would do nothing?

I think that either Trump has gone mentally around the bend or he decided to pick a fight with the federal government that he could not win in order play the innocent man targeted by a corrupt evil democratic government.
