President Trump the Grand Master

In the game of Chess, the objective is to take away your opponent's options until he finally concedes defeat. And Grand Masters are the best in the world at doing this.

Let's apply this analogy to the United States and its foreign adversaries, particularly China, Iran and North Korea. In each case, President Trump is methodically taking away their ability to harm or coerce our country.

In the case of China, his tariffs are causing much greater harm to their economy than ours both directly and indirectly as companies are moving to other countries such as Viet Nam. What can China do? With Treasury yields at near record lows, any threat of theirs to stop financing our debt has become meaningless. If they don't agree to restructuring our trading relationship on our terms, their economic growth will be stifled as they face increasing competition from other developing countries.

In the case of Iran, President Trump's increasing squeeze on their economy has led them to take hostile actions which not only erodes their support from other countries but also give the U.S. justification for even more punitive measures. If push comes to shove, they know that the U.S. has the ability to destroy them as a functioning country without ever having to set boots on the ground. As long as we stay this course, Iran will either capitulate or become irrelevant.

In the case of North Korea, President Trump has completely undermined their raison d'etre as a military dictatorship still at war with the U.S. As China's influence fades, Kim Jong Un is now facing a choice between maintaining Stalinist control of a declining country or gaining glory as the Great Leader who negotiated peace terms with the world's greatest power and led his country to economic prosperity.

All thanks to President Trump the Grand Master.

You make a lot of assumptions concerning Trump policies & events that have yet to play out to any end game.
You sound the typical arrogant AmeriKKKan.

So whatchu gonna do, punkass twink?

As I stated, the OP author makes a lot of assumptions concerning Trump policies & events that have yet to play out to any end game.

Maybe you could address the thread content instead of being a trolling bitch ass?

Trump wouldn't know chess if it bit him on the ass.

Is that how you and Siete try to play chess?

If you think Trump is Grand Master-level at anything other than bullshit, you're delusional.
He's the self proclaimed King of Debt. LOL

They couldn't pick a businessman without multiple bankruptcies? Oh, no, had to be a reality-TV star businessman.
50 years and no politician has resolved it. so your point?

hey curious, has any politician ever solved anything within our country?

Care to explain that analogy? What "bishop" have we lost, and what "pawn" have we taken out?

The Bishop is the damage to our Ag community. They absolutely rely on exports to do anything more than survive. They are taking the brunt of the damage and Trump can only pay them off for so long.

While you're at it, please explain how "normal" has been a winning strategy for the U.S.

Ok...here is what "normal" has given the US.

1. As of July 1st we will break the record for the longest period of sustained economic growth in the history of the country. That has all happened under "normal".

2. We are many months into the the record for most months straight of positive job growth. That has all happened under "normal".

3. We have more than a million open positions than people to fill them.

4. We had record setting financial markets under "normal", till Trump started the trade war

Which of those things do you view as bad for the country?

Getting a better/fair deal for America is not a "trade war". NAFTA was a terrible, traitorous trade agreement designed to weaken the US economy, Trump is trying to get us back to a position of strength. Is there something wrong with that?

Trump called it a Trade War, I will take him at his word! :21::21:

If you feel that way about NAFTA you should be pissed as hell at Trump as the new NAFTA is nothing but a couple of tweaks and a pretty new name

Trump did not give us those things, they all started long before he even came down the golden escalator. Or are you one of those morons that think Trump has been POTUS for 120 months.

Yep. But poor widdle America has been taken advantage of, raped, belittled, exploited, and cut its feet out beneath it, kicked in the teeth, and ridiculed the world over to add insult to injury. So much so, actually, this is now considered "normal". And Donald "The Great Grand Master" Trump set out to right that, just as he ordered the American Carnage stopped. You'll see!

Trunp can't even complete a sentence. If we sat him at a chess board he would probably try to eat the pieces.

Meanwhile back in reality, we are twice bailing out our already-subsidized farmers, our trade deficit is not going anywhere, Korea and Iran could care less about sanctions.

trump is the grand master Flim Flam Artist....he has fooled the most gullible of our society....they drool to each of his lies....

Anyone notice how the Libtards are completely unable to address a single factual point raised in the OP?

Products of "public education?"
There were factual points raised in the op? Where? All I saw was regurgitated faux news talking points.

Is this too much for your bumper sticker brain to comprehend?
