Only since it had been done to hundreds of generations of women..where would you get an idea it would be dropped because of fair play Americanism???.

American society has been evolving for a couple of centuries (see: 19th Amendment, May 1919) and you have no way of knowing what would be had AA not been enacted. I believe it was a necessary tool to remedy centuries of unequal opportunity and had no prob with daughter going to her 3rd choice (she sure did) but does it strike you as "fair play Americanism" at work?

What the media only hint at is another staggering reality: recidivism. Black men are arrested and convicted over and over. It is typical for a black man to have five felony convictions before the age of 30. This kind of record is rare among whites and Hispanics, and probably even rarer among Asians.
