Psaki is right! Gas price increases due to Russia...BUT this didn't contribute?

Why can't you get past the facts? The Taliban didn't take over the country in 2020. They took it over after Biden took out our troops in a manner against what his own advisors were advising. You are a fact denier and fail to take responsibility for your mistakes.

They were going to take it over no matter what, that is Trump negotiated with them and them alone. That is why he left the current Afghan Govt out of the negotiations. This is also why it was stated in the agreement that the US would work to help the Taliban gain international recognition as legit government.

Yes, Biden did the withdrawal in the worst possible way, but the outcome of the Taliban taking over the country was pre-arranged.

Why did Trump betray the peaceful democracy and the Afghan government?

No one expect the Afghan troops to cut and run or the country to fall as quickly as it did. And regardless of how chaotic it was, it was a peaceful orderly exit compared to Viet Nam, or any other losing war for that matter.

Biden return many of the troops to Afghanistan to bolster the remaining forces there in order to hold the airport long enough to get the rest of their people out. No one has ever gotten 150,000 out a war zone so quickly or efficiently.

But best of all is the Republican Party's continuing campaign of making political hay after they botch everything up and someone else has to come in and clean up THEIR mess. They did the same thing to Obama after he saved the economy "Worst recovery ever", when in reality it was the longest period of sustained economic growth in American history.

Biden's own team warned him not to get out the way he did and he ignored them.

What on Earth are you talking about? Biden is the one who was full of betrayals?

Why did Trump leave the Afghan government out of the negotiations for the withdrawal of US Troops?

Why did Trump agree to help the Taliban gain international recognition as legit government if it was not already arranged they would take over?

You guys just can't get past the fact that the Taliban did not take over Afghanistan in 2020. They took it over after Biden withdrew our troops in a way that was contrary to what his own advisors were suggesting. And, in doing so, Biden betrayed a whole boatload of people.

The withdrawal of nearly all our troops and assets were suppose to be conditioned based but the Trump Administration did not enforce the conditions on the Taliban yet they carried out the withdrawals and abandoning of 5 American Bases as if they did.

Nobody has said they did, this is a strawman.

They took it over after Biden withdrew our troops in a way that was contrary to what his own advisors were suggesting.

No, they took it over after our troops left as per their agreement with Trump. Yes, Biden fucked up the withdrawal, but that does not change the fact the Taliban had been given Afghanistan by Trump. Them taking over was a forgone conclusion.

Why would they risk going back to war with us. Trump gave them a date, Trump, Benedict Donald that is was removing our troops and deliberately setting the Afghan Government and Army up for failure by not forcing the Taliban to keep to the Accords. That make us look bad. Contrary to Neo-GOP Talking points, it was the Military's Evacuation Plan.

What a waste of money! Why would we need a bigger military? The ONLY country to have ever attacked Canada is the USA.

Think of all of the things you could do for your citizens if you weren’t paying over million members of the military salary plus equipment and resources.

You’ve only been attacked twice in the past 100 years.

You’ve only been attacked twice in the past 100 years.
And thanks to protection given to canada first by the mighty British Empire and then by America your ungratful country has not been attacked once

Ummmmmmmmmmm, it was Biden who removed the troops and he did it in a way that was contrary to what his own advisors advised.

Again, it was Biden who removed our troops in a way that was against what his own advisors advised him. Why can't you guys take responsibility for your failures?

Lets look at that . His advisors are our top generals in the pentagon. They wanted a continued presence in Afghanistan. Joe told them no to the forever war at the very beginning. Next, he tasked them to plan the final evacuation and they did. Biden approved their plan. So when you say he ignored his advisors advice, he didn't. They even testified to that fact.

The failures of the collapse of the Afghan government and the Army had roots in the failure to enforce the Doha Accords conditions on the Taliban. Also the worst of it was the failure of the Taliban to aggressively go after Islamic Terrorist operating in Afghanistan, like ISIS in Kabul. That was also a condition the Trump administration failed to enforce.

Does that mean Trump is totally responsible for those failures?

No. But he has some.

Nope. Biden was trying to honor Trump's agreement with the Taliban.
Trump said the US citizens should have been evacuated first, followed by bringing back all “equipment”. He then went on to suggest that the US should have bombed the bases that host foreign troops into smithereens before pulling out the military.

Trump had already reduced the troops from 13,000 to 2500. Trump is stupid and impulsive, but he loves it headline.
