Question #3 For All Of The Trump Defenders -- Do White Lies Matter?

I saw a guy on another thread bring up a very valid point -- he listed the main excuse lines said by all the Trump defenders -- they include the following:

  • He was exaggerating!
  • He was just joking!
  • I never believed it anyway
  • It's not a lie if he didn't intend to do it
  • It is not really a lie- because Trump said X but he really meant Y
  • It's not a lie because you didn't understand what he meant
  • Obama did it first!
  • Clinton did it too!
  • I like when trump pisses off the libs, so I don't care if he lies
  • Trump won, deal with it libs !!!
If Trump is such a "tell it like it is", plain speaking, no spin-just facts type of guy -- Why do you folks feel like you always have to explain to us what he "really" meant instead of letting us just take him at his "plain speaking" words??

And as much as some may hate Obama, when asked about his various lies -- the main one I see conservatives bring up is the "if you like your doctor" lie -- and when I seen those defending what Obama said, I never heard them use any of the above rationales. I also never seen Obama totally make up stories such as claiming McCain's dad assassinated JFK, Romney isn't a real US citizen, Columbine was a false flag, etc.

So why are lies and totally made-up conspiracies something that so many Trump lovers are willing to believe or at the least, be ok with as long as it makes "libs" mad -- how is that a policy?
Its the same for either side when they are in office. When you support a person, you will defend them. Dems did for Obama who was supposed to be an upfront guy. Repubs did it for Bush. Dems did it for Clinton, etc. This is a hollow narrative.

If its a hollow narrative -- find me something Obama said that was a made up conspiracy like Sandy Hook being a hoax -- that other dems tried to defend?

Your attempts to pass this off as "both sides do it" won't work -- no matter how much you try to normalize BS -- you guys got a pass with Bush, in which you were able to put on funny little hats and re-brand yourself tea partiers to absolve yourself of all that Bush sycophancy -- but it won't be any life rafts this time around
Its funny how you go straight to thinking you know what some is or what they have done. I don't have a funny little hat ( whatever that means. I do have a baseball cap when I sail, but that isn't what you so foolishly tried to say. I am a centrist. Both sides do it, you refuse to admit it. Lets try two Obama lies. Thousands of shovel ready jobs. Lie. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Lie Not sure what I would need a life raft for.

Stop paying homage to your ideology and realize we have a flawed system and flawed leaders.

Blah-Blah-Blah ...

name a person in your personal life who can lie to you on the level Trump does and you be ok with it?

... Blah-Blah-Blah

There's your problem ... You invest way too much desire to trust in regards to your relationship with the nit-wits in Washington DC.

If it truly matters what any of them say ...
If it truly influences how you progress through your day ...
If you peg your life and success to how well the government provides for you ...

Well ... To be honest ... You're already screwed ...

.

according to RW's Obama is the biggest POS on the planet SO its ok if Trump does what he did.

damn, you Trumpdrones are some F'd up idiots ...

I would lend more credence to democrat cries about Trump's lies if the democrats' houses were clean. As it is, both houses should be condemned for their states of squalor. There's little left that one side won't say about the other or about a given issue in order to score political points with their base.

Don't like what Trump sez? Get on Twitter and tell him. We Trumpbots can't help you when you're bawling like babies.

First off, ALL politicians lie! ALL. They tell you what you want to hear to get elected, then work their back-room deals with fellow politicians. If a politician told no lies, he/she wouldn't get elected. As for Obama, he was no different from the rest, someone saying what he had to, to get elected. Obama implemented DACA, which was UNCONSTITUTIONAL. That should have gone through Congress.

This is why I feel most trump supporters are full of shit --- they go on and on about how Trump isn't a politician, and how he will tell the truth and not lie like most politicians

Then when he gets exposed as being exactly what we told you he was -- your only reply is -- well he is just like all other politicians..

and no, the level of lies and the frequency of it is not what all politicians do -- that is why you trump lovers say the same Obama so called lie over and over again -- because truth of the matter, you don't have many that come to mind without having to twist yourselves into knots to claim something he said is a lie.

With trump, there are just 700 this week we can choose from -- from claiming his healthcare plan would cover more than Obamacare, for cheaper -- to claiming his child separation policy wasn't his own -- to saying NK has agreed to denuke, etc etc etc

but its fine as long as he has an R by his name -- as for acting like you don't know that the Tea Party movement was nothing but corporate re-branding after the Bush failure of a presidency -- this guy said it best:

"Tea Party: what it is, what it means, where it’s going, I’ve concluded they're full of shit, at the voter level, they claim to be very against government spending but the vast majority of them are former Bush supporters who yawned thru 2 terms or record deficits, because the average Tea Partier is sincerely against government spending — with the exception of the money spent on them"

I guess you cant comprehend. I didn't vote for Trump and not a supporter. I never wrote or acted like I didn't know what the tea party was. I simply pointed out your childish statement about a funny hat. I also never said he was like any other politician. I was pointing out how rabidly anyone supports their chosen person. Try reading what someone writes. But it looks as if you just want to push your narrative forward without understanding what the other person posts.

What's going on here? Are you attacking President Trump, his supporters, their so-called conspiracy theories or are you defending former President Obama? Quite a hodgepodge of issues to cover in question #3. Are you also crafting racial hatred in there as well? White lies?

Our President is an adept at use of targeted misinformation, redirection and feigning mockery at his detractors with the end goal of drawing them out, luring them in, sowing unprecedented panic and stupidity among them. Why directly attack all of your enemies at once when isolating one or two, infecting them with volatile misinformation to take back to commie HQ, then leads them to infect the rest and cannibalize each other?

All our Google skills work equally well. You certainly can use your Left leaning news outlets to paint our President a compulsive liar. Just as we can make an excellent case using the same search engine that Obama is a Marxist-Leninist with roots growing in black power Islam Chicago brand--packaged in Kenya.

Something I expect a sycophant to say

and look at how the person who probably claims "I'm not racist" -- is the first to inject race into a topic that had nothing to do with race.

Again, the more you let these people type (talk) the more they expose themselves -- then get mad at you for noticing it

Inserts racism into thread title, accuses accusation of racism^^

The whole "gather round ye all and gaze upon what right winger ignorance and horror I have drawn out of the stygian dankness" act is amusing. So you're a cat then bringing out chewed rats and laying them at the feet of his masters? Well played but: hairballs. watch out for the hairballs.
