Regarding Trump's Tax Reform Scheme....

A couple of questions on Trump's long-awaited tax reform scenario.....one of the main objective of his platform during the campaign.

As we have heard, Trump is proposing lowering the business tax rate from 35% to 15% .....a proposal that would indeed send Wall Street in a drunken spree.....But here are the reality questions:

First, I'd love to know WHICH large corporations are currently actually paying that infamous 35%...as we well know, the tax loopholes were written by large corporations themselves (through their thoroughly bribed congress people)......probably using the high 35% as a ruse and a "straw man," inciting the ire of ignorant Americans that its too "high."

Second, Trump's rhetoric goes like this.......IF large businesses pay LESS taxes, realizing HUGE profits, they will in turn use those huge profits and decide to pay average,middle class workers more money........

Now, I ask Americans of all stripes if this neo, trickle-down scheme will actually work. Who here believes that a large business....realizing astronomical profits, will feel that it would respond with a "moral" obligation to pay worker more.......OR, place those profits in off shore banks, instead.

Bear in mind that LOWERING corporate taxes is a proposal in the midst of the need to come up with $150 BILLION to help Harvey's victims.......the pushing of building an expensive wall, and planning to borrow more billions for the promised infrastructure overhaul through the rest of this country.

Bottom line: WHO would greatly benefit from this proposal, and WHO would receive a royal screwing?

It appears to be a road map for the big fish to get bigger by gobbling up the smaller ones over time. Sort of like setting up a Russian type system of oligarchy right here in these United States.

There was a Republican back in the early 20th Century that would have railed against this type of scheme akin to the "Trusts" of that era and fought it tooth and nail. Where is the Teddy Roosevelt of today who will stand up and fight this usurping vile prick in the GOP?

The Orange Clown wants to reinvent the "trusts" in the new fashion of The Oligarchs with the boardrooms of industry standing in for the Russian version. Either way the nation is fucked if that Fat Purple Assed Orange Faced Baboon has his way.

I know of none among the large, medium or small corporations paying the max of 35% corporate tax. But there is a huge number of LARGE corporations paying no corporate taxes according to the IRS data supplied by the GPO in their graph below.

It appears that only ~1/3rd of all corporations, small, medium and large paid any taxes at all over the period analyzed during the Bush & Obama administrations and 2/3rd's paying nothing at all, the poor dear hearts. And for LARGE corporations over the same time period a spread of ~34-48% paying no taxes whatsoever according to the IRS data!
