You know damned well what I mean. Laws are not created by the courts, nor can they legislate from the bench. Laws are created by Congress or in the case of something Barack Obama went full-retard on, through executive orders.

President Trump can pretty much do whatever he wants to though the means of an executive order. The courts can challenge it but ultimately, the Supreme Court has the final say.

A lot of these 800,000 may never go back. The TSA's airport work should really be replaced by private contractors and paid for directly by the airlines. There is no reason why outfits like the Pinkerton Agency that we rely on to protect our nation's malls can't protect the airports.

The EPA is really taking a beating. Something like 85% of the EPA employees have been classified as "non-essential."

That says a shitload about the EPA.

My concern for the 800,000 "hostages" is far less than it was a week ago. The House by a vote of 411-7 passed a bill requiring that all government workers receive retroactive pay after the partial shutdown ends. The Senate approved the bill unanimously and Trump signed off last Wednesday.
