A lot of these 800,000 may never go back. The TSA's airport work should really be replaced by private contractors and paid for directly by the airlines. There is no reason why outfits like the Pinkerton Agency that we rely on to protect our nation's malls can't protect the airports.

The EPA is really taking a beating. Something like 85% of the EPA employees have been classified as "non-essential."

They're pretty stupid, I doubt they'll ever figure it out.
Eventually they will count it as the best thing that ever happened to them, because they're going to be forced to get real jobs where they actually have to work for their income. At first they won't like it, but ultimately they'll realize that real work, as opposed to government dependence, develops character and can even lead to things like knowledge (real knowledge, not the crap they're spoon fed as fed dependents) and self respect.

Part of any bill coming from the house there is a 1.3 billion fund for the border security as per the 2006 Border Security Law. Your Orange Diety keeps leaving that part out and you keep leaving that part out as well. That's called lying. And you notice how the amount has crept up from 5.3 billion to 5.7 billion. What's next? It's extortion. And the Supreme Court is getting ready to weigh in. You want to bet that Chief Justice Roberts will be kind to Trump?

No, but they can do what they did with DACA and order the government to reopen. You see, there are some laws being stomped all over right now. Once the first paycheck was denied and workers were forced to show up for work labor laws were broken. Even Walmart can't get away doing that.

What does it matter to democrats if most of those agencies aren't functioning? Dems have made clear that security isn't their concern. Last I checked most of your list pertains to national security.
