There's no reparations for slavery here. Trump fucked over black farmers with his welfare to farmers for his tariff war. And the Dept of Agriculture has a long history of giving less support to black farmers. At best, at the most benign view, black farmers lose out because they lack as much access to become "bigger" farms. Of course, the number of white people actually owning farms gets smaller too. Trump sent a lot of cash into rural areas to protect his ass in light of tariffs.

The quality of life in most African countries is far below that of the poorest American Black person.

That is what a lot of folks that get so hyperventilated and emotional about slavery.....being so shallow minded and ignorant ---do not understand ---aka those jungle critters little more if more than savages brought over here by slave traders ---were much,much better off than if they had been left in the hell hole of Africa...where the tribal chief that sold them into slavery would have either had them killed or for dinner....as he had captured them in one of their tribal wars.

The life of a slave on a plantation was a huge,huge step upward for those blacks.....they became civilized as much as blacks can be civilized without mixing their genes with whites...learned the English Language and lots of them became Christians.

Now their descendants many of whom have obtained a lot of white genes are very similar to white people and many of them have grown wealthy and have fantastic lives....they do not even have any interest in visiting Africa...oh a few of them have gone over there on vacation just out of curiosity.

So those blacks that were brought over here were very,very fortunate and they should fall down on their knees and thank God for being so lucky to have been brought to America....and they were also very fortunate not to have wound up in South America where 90% of them did go.....now slavery down there was much,much different......very horrific in fact ....yet what occurred to black slaves in South America is never even talked about despite the fact that most of the blacks enslaved.....the great majority of them wound up in either Arabia or South America.
