Even if the dems have 6 seats, they won't approve any total ban; rather, they'll stick to Heller, because if the Court overturns any precedent that didn't expressly overrule precedent itself, the decision will be seen as purely political, and whenever "the other side" got a majority, they'd just flip it back.

Citizens United would be toast. Utah's new sorta ban on abortion, and Texas and Miss's regulation choice outta the state, would be toast.
