Republican priorities

So the democrats are impotently boycotting another committee vote.

But here we go with the moonbats complaining about the government not functioning and screwed up priorities.

Payback is a MFer.

The time will come when even arch conservatives, at least those with traditional values, will find trumps's already apparent overreach too much.

In fact standing up for their principles, which you mock, is an important and valuable tool in a democratic republic. Will we still have a Bill of Rights in two years? Or will they be tweeted away with threats and the withholding of Federal Funds by fiat.

The RW has been working to create a Plutocracy, a Constitutional Republic, wherein the power elite writes the laws and benefits from them - while We the People pay for them.
Overreach for cancelling a regulation that Obama waited until his last day in office after 8 years! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:
The rule was finalized in December. It has been in process for some time.

What a ignorant fool you are.

Yep, lets allow coal mines to dump their waste into our streams. Maybe, just maybe, if they can't mine without fucking up our environment, they shouldn't mine.

Funny how lots of coal companies actually do mine within these rules.

They hold both houses. They hold the White House. They could pass all kinds of jobs bills, their great healthcare plan, save SS & Medicare, etc.

But what did they do yesterday?

The voted to allow mining companies to dump their waste into streams and to allow oil companies to bribe people overseas.

Really?
You mean like the EPA does without ramifications?

This is one of those only half the facts deal. after working on cleaning up an old mine for over a year, person running a piece of heavy equipment caused a real mess that took two weeks to clean up .EPA not perfect that's a fact. we have had many more messes caused by big oil &big business.

Contractors working to clean up the toxic site made a mistake.

Of course you would blame those trying to remedy a ecological disaster instead of those that created the toxic water in the first place.
Ah, when EPA bureaucrats and lackeys fuck up it's "a mistake".

Hack.
Look,. jackass, anytime work needs done to remediate polluted areas, there is a risk. Instead of blaming those trying to clean it up, try blaming the polluters.

If a private company did that people would be in prison.

Well they could have passed a bill (for you to read after it was passed) to force you to buy insurance and fine you if you don't.

How'd that work out for the demoquacks? Oh yeah....they lost the majority

Wow, I can't believe you are sofa king stupid to push that flawed interpretation of what Pelosi said.

You people's stupidity must be so inbred into your very beings.

Here is how stupid you are. You bitch about the mandate which was to eliminate pre-existing conditions by getting people to buy insurance to help fund the system.

The Republican plan is high risk pools where those with pre-existing conditions get help. Do you know who pays for those pools? Everyone that buys insurance.

So you will pay instead of the idiots who don't buy insurance until the need it.

Did she say it or not....careful there is videos of it all over the net.

The bill was there for all to read. She said that we will need to wait until all the vitrol of the Congressional debate was done before we would know what was in it.

I read it. If you didn't, then that is on you.
Liar said he read it in the 3 hours before it was passed in the midnight hour.
What a pathetic liar.

You act like it was written just 3 hours before the vote.

What was in the bill was widely known & some had been in place for months.

If the regulation was so good and so important, why did Obama wait until he was leaving office after 8 years to implement it?

because he didn't HAVE to when he was president.

but he had to after you installed the orange sociopath.

So pollution that was okay under Obama is now bad under Trump? DERP!

The rule had been in process for quite a while. Getting anything about the environment done with Republicans running Congress is not easy.

Learn more about commenting on EPA regulations and how you can get involved

When developing regulations, the first thing we do is ask if a regulation is needed at all. Every regulation is developed under slightly different circumstances, but this is the general process:

Step 1: EPA Proposes a Regulation
The Agency researches the issues and, if necessary, proposes a regulation, also known as a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM). The proposal is listed in the Federal Register (FR) so that members of the public can consider it and send their comments to us. The proposed rule and supporting documents are also filed in EPA's official docket on Regulations.gov.

Step 2: EPA Considers Your Comments and Issues a Final Rule
Generally, once we consider the comments received when the proposed regulation was issued, we revise the regulation accordingly and issue a final rule. This final rule is also published in the FR and in EPA's official docket on Regulations.gov.

Step 3: The Regulation is Codified in the Code of Federal Regulations
Once a regulation is completed and has been printed in the FR as a final rule, it is codified when it is added to the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). The CFR is the official record of all regulations created by the federal government. It is divided into 50 volumes, called titles, each of which focuses on a particular area. Almost all environmental regulations appear in Title 40. The CFR is revised yearly, with one fourth of the volumes updated every three months. Title 40 is revised every July 1.
