First off if the tea partiers didn't pay their taxes then the IRS will come after them. Heck the IRS comes after them even when they do. We are not over taxed. Taxes is only high in terms of raw dollars. The size of the economy and inflation must be accounted for. The only way to measure revenue is by computing it as a percentage of the GDP. Right now it is near the historic low of 16%.
