Republicans like to think they understand the concept of “free shit” but actually don’t

See that’s just you entertaining a stereotype about college because you never went there. It’s true to an extent but obviously people do go to college to get degrees that allow them to be teachers, lawyers, engineers, economists etc.if more people went to college we, would have more of them.
Why 50% of College Grads End Up Back Home - Jay Block
So you’re saying that no one becomes all of those careers because 50% of grads go back home? That’s stupid lol. Of course, if you actually understood this subject you would know those people end up back with their parents because they can’t pay their student loans. No cost tuition would obviously improve this problem.

It might solve that problem, but what about the country's problem of 22 trillion in debt? Who's going to solve that problem?
Nothing can solve that problem. However, this program can easily be paid for with tax on Wall Street speculation as Bernie has proposed.

Sure, if you want to tank the market. Then the entire economy goes down the toilet. How is it the deficit and debt problem can't be solved but new unneeded spending can?
Why would that tank the market? Do you even realize how wealthy these people are?

So what is too much?
This from a guy who compares college education with the police. He does not understand what the government is there to do...
The reason why free college is important is because the country benefits from educated people. We NEED more educated people like doctors or scientists.
What a crock of shit, most people that go to college avoid science and math like the plague, they graduate with liberal arts degrees and stay in their parents basements.
If you want more of those, then PAY them.....
Not everyone needs to go to college, we need manual labor as well......in fact we need them more than scientists.
You really don't understand how life works....
And going to school, should be on you.....it makes the people who want to go, figure out a way to go
And we could make college affordable, like lowering tuition and books...…..funny how the left never mentions this....ever

buy no cost also means worthless. You get what you pay for, you get what you invest in.....and people that don't pay for their college or get a scholarship.....genuinely fail at school, because they don't care, they have nothing invested in it....it's why public housing is a shit show......they don't care. So free college would be a disaster and devalue college even more.

Um because these taxes never work that way. There are not enough rich people to pay all the bills....its why the middle class always gets hammered.....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more people than the rich.....you guys really need to take some math and add it up....it's not hard.

I support the government providing the large majority of those things. Not even sure what you mean by phones or gender but whatever.

Let me put this way: obviously there is such a thing as too much government. However, there is also such a thing as too little. That balance is important.
So what is too much?

Well I do have a degree.....In Information Technology, so I took a lot of classes, you lefties avoid like the plague.
The problem is you don't know why college exists and what caused the issues

What is college for?

It is to cultivate leaders through giving them a well rounded education to succeed in life.

What happened?
2 Major problems....
1) Cost of college has skyrocketed.
Tuition and books are astronomical.....but the people who own the culture institutions(the left) that complain about costs, never complain about this one, because all of their buddies make a killing off of this. Also one of the reason they want everyone in college
2)Curriculum
It used to be you have to be well rounded, take a foreign language and calculus and science in addition to humanities and English classes. Now you can avoid those classes you don't like, thus you are not well rounded and not prepared to be a leader.

So when you want everyone to go to college and be doctors and such, you would have to lower the costs for more people to enter college, but at the same time increase the requirements to make the degree worth a fuck.
Where do you get this idea students can avoid classes they don’t want to take? That’s just some bullshit you are pulling out of your ass because it makes you feel superior to millennials. Any accredited college or university requires math, English, and science classes to get ANY degree. They are called general education classes.

Someone other than Trump.

Billy, our founders never wanted anything like this. They wanted free people, not kept people by their federal government. It's the reason they left and found this land in the first place.

Thanks to progressivism (if you wish to call it that) we went from a free people, to a cradle-to-grave government. Government provides housing (in suburbs for many cities) provides food, provides medical care, provides phones, provides daycare centers, provides utilizes, tells us what to eat, what we can and cannot smoke, what kind of cars we should be driving, provides retirement funds, what our children are allowed to eat in school, and even a choice of gender you wish to be.

Does that sound like we are free people to you? And to add insult to injury, it's not enough. Now government wants to provide you with national healthcare coverage and college as well. What's left for you to decide? What color of carpet you have in your home?

"I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution that grans Congress the right, of expending on articles of benevolence, the money of their constituents."
James Madison, annals of Congress 1794

Charge less.....when I was in school 20 years ago, a math book that was like 50 pages was like $100, it could be a lot cheaper. As for tuition, the schools are allowed a certain percentage every year, and they always take the max.....it's way more expensive than even 20 years ago.....waaaay more.

Those were just from a quick search, you guys need to learn to use Google, and you need to actually be in the real world, you need to come out of the socialist fantasy in your head. We can easily debunk you retarded ideas in seconds.

Strange, but people get a public and high school education at no cost to them, and they actually succeed at school, because they want an education. Rich kids get free college educations because their parents paid for it. Are you saying rich kids don't value and appreciate their educations because they don't pay for it? Your argument fails utterly because lots of people get "free college" and they manage to both pass their courses, but appreciate the value of their education. That includes the children of college professors.

Yes that is exactly what I am saying, a lot of those rich kids drop out...…..because they didn't want to go in the first place and they aren't paying for it. so they party and flunk out of school. Same thing with poor folks in secondary education......if you pay for something you value it more, it's not arguable......it's a truth of life.

Yeah I am a child of a college professor, so I did the same thing, I then got married and went back to school, took out loans and finished.....but when my dad was paying for it, I took random shit and had no goals.....I now have a BA in information technology and work for a Fortune 500 company.....based in Memphis, TN.

And I know plenty of people who do that.....this socialist utopia you want, does not exist...

That is bullshit....now you have never been to college.

I don't make this shit up

Trying to Avoid Math

Those were just from a quick search, you guys need to learn to use Google, and you need to actually be in the real world, you need to come out of the socialist fantasy in your head. We can easily debunk you retarded ideas in seconds.
Lol do you even read what you post? That article is from two professors and it explores why some students try to avoid math. As in, avoid voluntarily studying it. None of this changes the fact that any student at an accredited school has to take a math class in order to graduate.
