I think the speaker's list is so devoid of any big name Republicans is because so few want to be associated with Trump. It's like they're conceding that they have no hope and don't want to be associated with this loser.

Most enjoyable convention I can remember and I think it is because Hillary is such an easy target to lob real bombs at!!! As Cristie said tonight, "the facts" which are not in dispute. Trump promised an spectacular convention, from start to finish, and he was right. Trump is no stranger to spectacular productions and should have both the experience and expertise to pull it off. After all, he runs the Miss Universe Pageant, stages major events at his properties all over the world, and works in the entertainment business. It should be a piece of cake for him to throw an entertaining spectacle, and truly yesterday was really something.

1. Nobody showed up for the Women for Trump rally. There were the panelists, the press, and fewer than 30 actualy women for Trump. During the question and answer session, the panelists had to ask each other questions.

2. Too many speakers. It was nearly 1:00 am EST before Trump came on stage. He should have been on at 10:00, at the latest. People in the Eastern Time Zone who have to get up for work in the morning, wouldn't be up that late. Melania didn't come on until after 10:00 p.m. Bad, very bad.

3. Patricia Smith. This poor woman has lost her son and seems so unstable. It's shameful the way Republicans capitalize on her pain.

4. The the ex-navy seals droned on, what wasn't shown was that the auditorium was mostly empty.

5. No major celebrities which were promised. Not even stars in the Republican Party. Mostly hacks and has beens.

6. Melania Trump's plagerism of Michelle Obama's speech - really an amateur night fiasco.
