Socialists might have opened the door to legally defining their beliefs as a religion; thereby, triggering the First Amendment’s prohibition against a state religion. There’s quite a bit in an article by John Griffing, but this could be the wedge that forces the door open:

AUSTIN, Texas – Parents of school children across Texas now are gaining access to a previously secret public school curriculum, according to an announcement from a state lawmaker.

Among those issues were that the curriculum at one point taught the Boston Tea Party was an act of terrorism and Christians were cannibals, and forced students to draw a socialist flag while imagining a new socialist country.

Naturally, the defunct Soviet Union’s hammer & sickle on a field of red is well-represented. I doubt if American Socialists/Communists want to be reminded of socialism’s greatest failure to date; so I selected this:

The United Nations is the driving force behind establishing socialism as the one true religion. If socialism has a cathedral it is surely UN headquarters in Manhattan. Bottom line: There is no better way to tie the United Nations to socialism than a flag of their choosing. It is teachers who brought socialism to where it is in America today. I once said that blue was the color of socialism:

I was wrong. Thanks to teachers in Texas UN Blue is being replaced by communism’s red. That is an important development. Whenever American military personnel are ordered to wear UN apparel they are, in effect, serving under socialism’s colors. So the next step is changing UN caps, etc. from blue to red. (Red has universally been seen as the color of communism since the earliest days of the Soviet Union.)

Neither the hammer & sickle nor any national flag flown by any communist country has ever been able to have their flags legitimize socialism as effectively as does the UN flag. The UN flying its flag along with all of those national flags on the UN campus implies worldwide socialism.

Like Islam’s flag(s), the UN flag represents a religion and a political agenda. That agenda is socialism/communism (totalitarian government when put in practice). Neither the hammer & sickle nor any national flag flown by any communist country was ever able to have their flags legitimize socialism as effectively as does the UN flag.

Incidentally, did you know that Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock were Socialists? Think about it. Many of the old Star Trek shows dealt with omnipotent entities, or were just plain silly. However, those storylines involving the Klingons, or the Romulans, always ended with Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock bringing off Peace Without Victory. There was never an all-out war with a winner and a loser that I'm aware of. Such shows were loaded with numerous references to the all-supreme United Federation of Planets. Clearly, a clever way of plugging the United Nations into impressionable young minds. Hell, the fictional Federation even had a flag that looks like the UN flag:

I wonder how many then-young Trekkies —— now, well into their middle-age —— realize how shamelessly they were brainwashed?

Texans are fighting socialism on the state level. Education is a state issue. The federal government has no constitutional authority to interfere in education. Do a little research and you won’t find any justification for this:

WND previously reported the Obama administration’s Department of Education was expressing interest in CSCOPE.

A source in the Texas education system had told WND that Common Core operatives in the U.S. Department of Education are actively pursuing CSCOPE as a way around the Texas legislative process.

Parenthetically, Ronald Reagan et al. wanted to abolish the Department of Education. More recently, Michele Bachmann vowed to shut it down.

Jimmy Peanuts signed the Department of Education into law. The first Secretary of Education, a cabinet post, took office in 1979. If the atheistic ED can’t be shutdown, I would make Secretary of God a cabinet post and install a Christian cleric as the first secretary. A Roman Catholic cardinal would send liberals round-the-bend.

Basically, it would be impossible to get a case before the Supreme Court based on philosophy and/or a political agenda. Everything Socialists did in Texas schools depicts actual events that can be presented in a court —— facts supporting the claim that socialism is a religion violating the First Amendment.

Incidentally, socialism/communism is the only religion that has no sects. There are no choices. It’s socialism or nothing.

Of course communism is a religion! They have a bible - Karl Marx Mentor - Hess - said that his religion was that of the socialist revolution. The clergy of all other religions were crooks according to him. Hess was the founder of a perverted zionism which to this day is purposely confused with Herzl who gave a right definition of zionism- and- the one we follow to this very day. Hess taught Marx that socialism was inseperable from internationalism. Marx wrote in his Communist Manifesto that the proletariat has no fatherland. MARX, DARWIN AND THE REVOLUTION CHAPTER 7 - MARX & SATAN - BY RICHARD WURMBRAND

The greatest book ever written exposing the religion of satanism which Karl Marx did practice would be Marx & Satan by Richard Wurmbrand. The communists were so disturbed by the documents / evidence / poetry / writings and letters Wurmbrand was able to lay hold of that they viciously attacked his book from one continent to the next. No other man in the world has done so much damage to the secret plans of the Soviets. His book is a veritable masterpiece.

In chapter 7 of Wurmbrands book he confronts the specific contribution of Marx to Satans plans for mankind. What were those plans? Well, the bible teaches that God created man in his own image ( Genesis 1:26) Up to the time of Marx, man continued to be considered "the crown of creation" Wurmbrand says.... Marx was Satans tool to make sure that man lost his self esteem, his conviction that he comes from high places and is meant to return to high places. Marxism is the first systematc and detailed philosophy which drastically reduces the notion of man.

According to Marx, man is primarily a belly which has to be filed and refilled constantly. The prevailing interests of man are economic in nature; he produces in order to satisfy his needs. For this purpose, he enters into social relationships with others. This is the basis of society, what Marx calls the infrastructure. Marriage, love, art, science, religion, philosophy, everything other than the needs of the belly, are all superstructure, determined in the last analysis by the state of the belly.

No wonder Marx praised Darwin's book, The Descent of Man, another masterstroke which makes men forget their divine origin and divine purpose. Darwin said that man springs from the animal world.

Man was dethroned by these two. Satan could not dethrone God, so he devalued man. ( and he used Karl Marx to accomplish that, people! ) Man was shown to be the progeny of animals and a mere servant to his intestines.

It is a strange coincidence that the nineteenth century gave the world three leading personalities opposed to Christianity, all three bearing the name of Charles: Karl Marx ( German for Charles ) Charles Darwin and the french poet Charles Baudelaire. The latter wrote in Abel and Cain: Race of Cain ascend to heaven and throw God to the earth. Interesting fact known by the Christian world though. Charles Darwin repented and converted to Christianity on his death bed. I cannot recall the name of the woman who led him to the Lord right now but I have the book that details his conversion.

Socialists pick my pocket, and would break my leg the minute they abolish the Second Amendment. Legally defining socialism as a religion so the First Amendment kicks in has always been my goal. Taking tax dollar tithing away from Socialists contains a built-in bonus. Their evil religion will disappear on the day they have to pay for it out of their own pockets.

I have to admit it’s been an uphill battle. In addition to infiltrating the federal government Socialists on every level know their beliefs constitute a religion, yet they deny it knowing full-well that a Supreme Court decision would drive them and their beliefs away from the tax tub. Happily, Babeuf was executed. I always thought fate sent a message in that the engineer of contemporary socialism got his head lopped off while colonial Americans were creating a government for the ages.

Today, the results of that terrible religious doctrine founded upon the tax collector’s morality is obvious.

He advocated the common ownership of land and property, and absolute economic and political equality of all citizens. These principles became known as Babouvism. The root cause of communism/socialism can be found in an unrealistic search for Utopia. That fantasy goes back further than Babeuf who is said by some to be the father of socialism. Karl Marx basically cataloged Babeuf’s beliefs, and then added a few utopian ideas of his own. That so many bought into communism is the real tragedy.

Looking back at socialism’s sorry track record wherever it has been put in practice, I stand by my assertion that absolute private property ownership is the best way to beat back Babouvism or socialism or communism or whatever they want to call it nowadays.

I believe it was Mayor Bloomberg who recently condemned a public figure ( not liberal ) of being an 'anti-utopianist!" Incredible how they can come right out and tell the world and still the world does not get it! Hard to comprehend how it is possible however Yuri Bemzenov not only suggested it was possible but probable as the indoctrination of Marxism in schools, society, government agenda all but guarantee it. Yuri was an ex KGB agent trained in subversive technique so I'm sure he was capable of recognizing it even then.

It's not over my head, I rather enjoyed what you two have been talking about. What burdens me is time issues to look further into these subjects and the materials.

I doubt it,s over many of "their heads" either. I think it more a matter of what you quote with Tozer. People want to live a fun life, a life that pleasures them and those dear to them. They do not want to think about those things that cause them fear or discomfort --- like death, and the spirit world, and sin, and the consequences of sin. However, given that misery loves company, they will expend some effort (and the media and schools will help) to try to publicly discredit and / or ridicule Christians and their claims. "There is no shred of evidence for Jesus or God!" they boldly proclaim. Haven't you learned that, yet? And if you can get enough of them to say "here, here" on that proposal, then some paradoxical uneasy calm and comfort sets in and keeps them going. IMO.
