Senate Votes to Side With the Middle Class, Gauntlet Thrown Down to House Repubs.

You should really just quit while you're behind, lest we embarrass you further.

You have had your head up your ass for quite some time.

Its OK I like punking democrats, I really do.

This sentence is from a recent article. I like sand bagging the idiots.

The Obama administration said Tuesday that it strongly supported a Senate proposal to give tax breaks for certain small businesses.

So, let's review.

if the tax cut extension passed by the Senate becomes law, will everyone who works see a reduction in their taxes relative to what they would pay without this legislation?

A simple yes or no will do, thanks,

No not everyone.

Thanks for playing...............

Yes explain how a tax cut for the middle encompasses everyone.

One last time, let's get to the heart of this. Do you acknowledge that after the 2003 tax cuts kicked in, revenue increased? Yes or no?

For the hundredth time, yes, revenue went up from 2003 to 2004 and then again in 2005. THAT'S BECAUSE OF INFLATION! You are refusing to use inflation adjusted numbers so of course revenue will look like it's growing. If you look at non-inflation adjusted numbers from the past 100 years, there are only a couple of years the number did not go up. And then Bush made it DROP 3 years in a row! That had never happened before.

But of course, you don't believe that happened, so no wonder you don't understand inflation adjusted numbers.

Real tax revenues did not reach their year 2000 levels until 2006 - the longest period between revenue peaks in modern US history.

From 2004 to 2007, federal tax revenues increased by $785 billion, the largest four-year increase in American history.

Ain't numbers fun?

See, Libtard, Bush tax cuts drove Federal tax receipts to record highs - just as planned.

Oh look everyone, the moron is using the age-old rhetoric that Liberals are wusses.

Hey, I forget, which President actually had the balls to train our focus on Bin Laden and then to pull the fucking trigger when we had him in our sights?

Who was that, Pho_King Retarded?

Yes, liberals are pussies. Otherwise hey would take care of themselves instead of commanding others to take car of them. And it does not take balls to order others to tackle a dangerous task. But that is the liberal understanding of masculinity.

You listen to Right Wing media WAY too much. What Liberals want is for the tax dollars WE pay to go towards helping people. I know, that makes us assholes. But it also puts us right in line with the teachings of one of the greatest socialist philosophers this world has ever seen: Jesus of Nazareth.
Actually, it is not the taxes you pay that you want to go towards helping people. It's the taxes you think others should be paying but are not that you are so interested in. You want to " help people" at the expense of others. That " help" you want others to pay for are really just freebies. You are a parasite. And a hysterical pussyboy to boot. It's not entirely your fault for being such a waste, and don't worry. You are not alone. There are millions of other OWSers just like you.

Cool. So you adjusted your numbers for inflation then?

The concept of real dollars is clearly over your head. Under Bush we experienced the longest drought between peaks in real revenues in the post-war era.

Cool. So you adjusted your numbers for inflation then?

Are you actually trying to argue that the RECORD $785 billion in increased Federal tax receipts during those 4 years was due to inflation?

LOLOLOLOLOLOL

The precentages are misleading because mindless deficit spending un-naturally drives GDP. If you borrow and spend 40% of every dollar, and if government spending is now approaching half of GDP, even you should be able to figure that one out.

The fact is, the Bush tax cuts exploded Federal tax revenues.

Clinton took in $5.66 trillion of individual income taxes in his 8 years.

Bush took in a whopping $7.45 trillion of individual income taxes in his 8 years.

A cool TRILLION of that extra income tax came from those filthy rich people you envy.

Only an idiot Leftist would want to go back to the Clinton tax rates if you wanted to soak the rich.

And here we go again. No source to back up your numbers and you're obviously NOT using inflation adjusted numbers, so big fucking deal!

Seriously, why do you guys refuse to learn about this topic?

You doubt the numbers?

RealClearMarkets - The Hidden Truth About the Bush Tax Increases

Eat shit and die.

His link clearly says he is using NON inflation adjusted numbers. Which means his entire "analysis" is based on faulty information.

God, you guys suck at this.

Oh gawd. Do I really need to explain this to you?

Yes explain how a tax cut for the middle encompasses everyone.

Do married-filing-jointly millionaires pay the same rate on their first $42,500 of taxable income as someone making $42,500 of taxable income?

A simple yes or no will do.

LOL DAMN THAT IS DESPERATE.

When you can show all Americans pay the same tax rate, your argument will have merit.

Until then you make a wonderful useful idiot intent on keeping the division of Americans alive.

Sorry, but you lose.

Bush stuck those filthy rich for a cool trillion more in extra taxes than Clinton.

And the rich paid a whopping 38% of their incomes to tax versus 33% under Clinton.

Bush stuck it to The Man.

Open your eyes and stop living the Liberal Lie.

Every American pays the exact same tax rate on each dollar of taxable income.

Thanks to this move by the Senate, every American will pay a lower rate on each dollar of taxable income between 0 and $382,967.

This legislation benefits reduces future taxes for everyone who works.

Your argument that this legislation only cuts taxes for the middle classes is not only without merit, it's a lie. Quit getting your education from the radio.

As long as multimillionaires and billionaires are taxed at 14% while the rate for rest of us remains far higher, we don't need to think twice about whose best interests are being served.

Wasn't the rationale for all those tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy would reinvest their profits in jobs and employment - if so, why were there no "strings attached"[ to guarantee how these savings would be spent?

Tax Cuts

WASHINGTON -- Senators blinked in the political standoff over how much of the Bush-era tax cuts to extend for another year and voted Wednesday to keep current rates for people with incomes of less than $250,000.

Tax rates would rise by 4 percent on incomes above $250,000 for couples and $200,000 for single filers. Popular breaks like the child tax credit would be preserved.

Whos lying you or the OP?

Why do you want to go back to Clinton?

I'm starting to wonder how Conservatives ever got the reputation as the ones who are good at Economics. Because you guys really, really, really suck at it.

Inflation adjustment

By adjusting for inflation, you uncover the real growth, if any. You also may stabilize the variance of random or seasonal fluctuations and/or highlight cyclical patterns in the data. Inflation-adjustment is not always necessary when dealing with monetary variables--sometimes it is simpler to forecast the data in nominal terms or to use a logarithm transformation for stabilizing the variance--but it is an important tool in the toolkit for analyzing economic data.

So what Duke University is telling us that you don't HAVE to adjust for inflation, unless you want to see real growth. So yeah, have fun looking at your numbers through a Conservative Prism, dummies.

As long as multimillionaires and billionaires are taxed at 14% or less, while the rate for rest of us remains far higher, we don't need to think twice about whose best interests are being served.

The rationale for all those tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy was to generate an increase in jobs and employment - so why were there no "strings attached" to guarantee that they would be delivered as promised?

You're an idiot.

According to the article you posted, Bush crushed Clinton. Clinton crushed Reagan. Reagan crushed Carter. Carter crushed Ford.

See a trend yet?
