I find the Bible's teachings about creation more palatable than the evolution theory of this big bang that brought about a single cell amoeba and from it sprung every bit of life on the planet. Where the evolution theory gets knocked on it's ass is the fact that there has been many findings of human beings as tall as 15 feet so being that is the case? What happened??? Given the subject matter, there will always be holes. We are talking about events which are only explored and researched thru the fossil records, and that happened millenia ago.
But as soon as you, and others, are willing to subject the creationist's ideas to the same standards you demand for evolution, we will talk. But so far all I have seen is that evolution is ridiculed for lack of evidence, while espousing an idea that has absolutely no evidence.

The universe requires a Creator. Otherwise you have no cause at all. Which violates the law of cause and effect. There is also the matter of where energy came from. Honestly? Both theories requires faith. Why is it that humans and even animals have the capacity for love, compassion and empathy? How can anyone explain how a mother can do unbelievable feats of human strength when one of their children is in danger......same goes for animals and their protective nature . That's not evolution that brought about those traits....it's something much deeper and something that cannot be explained with science IMHO.
