I strongly oppose criminalizing speech of any kind other than in very narrow and specific categories that apply uniformly to all citizens and not special persons or groups.

Speech is constitutionally protected even if it's inaccurate, intentional disinformation, racist, sexist, phobic or whatever. It is constitutionally protected even if the person uses the wrong pronouns.

Nobody in government with political motives or for any other reason that could be personal should have authority to determine what is and what isn't hate speech.
