Yes, I take it as intimidation. If you read my post fairly, you would note that I said a woman like that has a lot more to lose, and yes, because she is intelligent and well educated, she knows how much she has to lose. A stripper doesn't have a lot of credibility with me. Any woman can get some kind of training or education to rise up in the world. Those who chose to live a life w/o dignity are not people I respect. And that other one, she was a very mixed up kid: Anita Hill was in a totally different league.intimidate? Really? You take that as intimidation? Are you trying to intimidate me? Are you sure you want to take that stand?and her allegations were not proven. Those two situations are not comparable. Anita Hill was/is a highly educated woman, an attorney and a law professor.Oh...so Tawana Brawley should be in there as well? How about the Duke Lacrosse accuser? Most everyone believed her. Her act of note is the courage it took to go before Congress and testify to what happened to her. To suffer the slings and arrows that she was attaced with for doing so. To stand up for sexually harrassed women. She deserves recognition
Sorry....but if the allegations are not proven, whereas they may be legit, you can not give credit because they very well may not be legit.
Are you saying that an arttorney/professor has more rights as it pertains to the law than a dancer? Someone who is well educated is deemed as more believable than someone with a GED when it comes to allegations of abuse?
Are you sure you want that position to stand?
I simply stated how I felt. I never would believe that anyone would take a position in a debate where they say the credibility of an individual is based on their economic and educational background.
