There's also the consideration that because of the ongoing Republican civil war, a House takeover in 2022 is highly unlikely.

That was a good possibility in the days immediately after November 3rd. Republicans dodged a huge bullet. That night should have been the end of their party for at least a decade. But then, two months of Trump screaming fraud!, 70+ court cases dismissed for lack of evidence, constant embarrassment for his legal D-Team with porn shop pressers and hotel conference room "hearings", 2 slam dunk GA Senate seats in the Republican column...LOST, and finally, the cherry on top of the shit sundae, a violent insurrection at the Capitol on January 6th and sitting members of the Senate Republican party standing up after all that and STILL protesting an election that their party standard bearer lost. Sorry, all that momentum Republicans had is GONE. The campaign ads are practically writing themselves. In addition, instead of addressing REAL policy issues, Republicans have given their voting constituents...Mr. Potato Head, Dr. Suess, and Brittany Spears. LOL

Republican legislators in several states are going to try and limit people's right to vote. They've said as much out loud. They're not being shy about stating that voter suppression is their goal.
This will backfire massively on them. Add to that Trump just can't keep his trap shut and he's hell bent on splitting the party in two. 2022 is officially up..for..grabs..! It'll be fun.

No. 11/3/2020 should have been the beginning of the end of the Republican Party. Democrats should have gained at least 16 seats in the House and picked up Senate seats in NC, ME, SC, and IA. The two seats in GA were a bonus gift to Democrats, courtesy of Donald John Trump. Republicans dodged a huge bullet that night. They actually had a chance to take back both houses in 2022...and then promptly let Trump piss it away for them.

I had to do the legwork on what you were referencing here. Ballots were still being counted on November 4th. Results hadn't been tallied yet.
There were 6K votes in Antrim County, MI given to Biden in the early morning hours of the 4th due to a USER input error (not machine error).
This error was quickly caught and corrected. Trump received all the votes in that county coming to him and he won said county. It had been
Republican leaning for decades. From that, as I predicted right here on these boards, right wing and alt-right media spun it into a national
conspiracy that the fix was in...when it wasn't.
