Student who stole teachers phone, spread nude photos arrested

I am wondering if the teacher can sue the student and his family for this incident...

She should and should win big. That's a civil issue. As for his stealing of the phone, he should go to jail for the max sentence.
That poor little thief. He's the real victim in all this.
He's a minor. Who knows how much viewing the pornography affected him. Viewing porn will "rewire" the brain.

Perhaps he'll remember that before he decides to steal and rifle through someone else's belongings.
why are you people in favor of showing porn to minor children? The teacher should not bring pornography to school.

Oh, please. Nobody showed porn to him and nobody is 'in favor' doing so. He stole a phone and happened to see it. Stop trying to make this little sneak thief into some kind of victim.

AvgGuy called STEALING the kid getting into something he shouldn't have. Wonder if a kid came into his house and took something of his if he'd say the same.

So after 100 posts, and you screaming "STEALING" over and over, I got a bit confused, because I remember reading that the student was never charged with theft. He was charged with voyeurism or some such.

That really confused me, because no doubt if the student had in fact been stealing, the police would have charged him with that.

So I re-read the entire article in it's entirety. There is a reason the police did not charge the student with theft, because he didn't steal.

Read the article next time. Let me help you out....

Evidence indicates that Leigh Anne Arthur was not in her assigned position at the time of the incident. Evidence also indicates that she allowed students to use her personal cell phone on a regular and routine basis. Evidence also indicates that the phone was routinely left on her desk for student use and was never locked.

So what have we learned? The teacher intentionally, with full knowledge, left the phone for students to use, on her desk unlocked.

That's why the student was never charged with theft, because it wasn't theft. She routinely allowed students to use her phone, and left the phone unlocked and available on her desk, for that exact purpose.

There was no theft.

Once again.... people screaming and yelling, and not paying attention to the facts.

Did she allow this student to use her phone in this specific instance. If not, your whining and bitching is nothing more than the typical Liberal viewpoint of blaming someone else.

Can you not read? She specifically left her phone, on the desk, for the explicitly given purpose of allowing ANY student to use the phone.

You can't tell someone, yes anyone can use my laptop, and then after having that as the standing rule for an entire year, suddenly spring "Oh but I didn't say Billy could!" and claim he stole it. Especially since he never left the room with the item in question.

You are starting to talk foolishly. I'd suggest you abandon this perspective pretty quick before you make yourself into an idiot.

Not even the teacher says he "stole" her phone. No one has made that claim, but you. Better wise up.

Not bright enough to destroy the phone means he should probably not be allowed to breed........................

You are in the wrong country for that. Women in western cultural will breed with anyone.
Fascinating, you are fascinating.

Am I wrong?

1 in 3 female online daters report first-date sex

1/3rd of women report it's ok to have sex on the FIRST DATE.

Should I also post the number of women that pick up the check for the date?

The Etiquette of Paying for Dates Today

1/4 of women now pay for their own date.

So let's think about that.... first date, and you pick up the check, and you let the man have sex with you.

Now you tell me that western girls are not easy. Just a messenger. Just passing on information. That's all.
Girls? You are talking pedophilia here.....how sad.

Am I wrong? You tell me what information I have passed on here that is actually wrong. Start there. I don't care how sad it is. What happened to the lady in that story was sad.
So...you want to talk about girls. Pretty sick there.

Where do you get that from? Seriously....how more misogynst can you get?

You have made strange irrelevant comments multiple times now. Are you just wasting time? Have nothing of value to say, but are bored? I don't really understand the purpose of your posts. I can't tell if you are attempting to disagree with something, or if you just like making unrelated remarks that have nothing to do with.... well... anything.

I posted directly from the link of the article, that was used to start this discussion.

Moreover, I gave you exactly my reasons for coming to that conclusion. If the student had stolen the phone.... the police would have charged him with theft. Am I wrong? If the student had stolen the phone, the teacher in question would have made that claim. She did not. Am I wrong?

What part of this are you unable to understand?
