Next, consider what the PPACA covers, as opposed to the exceptions and denials which existed before the law went into effect. Let's be clear:

• The PPACA provides preventative health care to many who couldn't afford health care and regularly visited ER's for routine medical care
• The PPACA offers health insurance to those with pre existing conditions
• The PPACA is a public private collaboration. It is not socialism!
• The PPACA protects local government, previously awash in providing health care to the poor, and those unwilling to purchase health insurance
• The PPACA allow students to have health care up to age 26

All efforts by the Congress to design a horse end up with a camel, thus let's fix what needs fixing and knock off the bullshit.

The only reason this is a problem is because the supreme court ruled a few years ago that the states didn't have to join the exchanges if they didn't want to. So something like 34 states didn't join.

If the supreme court had not ruled that way all the states would have an exchange. Thank goodness 2 of those 5 came to their senses and overruled the 3 who are still trying to do all they can to destroy health care for millions of Americans.

So basically "F&&k the law, F&%k having to write a law right, and elections only mean something when progressive win them.

Exactly the same thing happened when Medicare was passed. The difference was that we didn't have an entire party intent on bringing down the country. The parties worked together and the result is that Medicare now works very well and within budget.

And like SS, it pays for itself.

Same is true of health care insurance and all other kinds of insurance as well.

Medicare turns down more people than private insurance. Now that insurance has become more of a government agency, I suspect more will be turned down
