Syiran-Israeli tensions may rise over dead Israeli

Different versions of what recently happened are the subject of this thread.

An Israeli jeep has been targeted by Syrian forces. A 15 year old teenager died.

What was a water transporting vehicle to the Israeli side, was an IDF jeep that accompanied a truck full of weapons for terrorists driving on Syrian ground to the Syrian side.

Israel boasts of a big requital air attack targeting nine targets inside Syria with direct hits confirmed, saying it "will not tolerate any attempt to breach Israel’s sovereignty and will act in order to safeguard the civilians of the state of Israel."

The Syrian side said that 4-8 missiles had been fired from Israeli jet fighters inside Israeli airspace not daring to enter Syria. Few losses are confirmed but no important sites were damaged according to a Syrian source. The source also told that an Israeli army camp in Shilat near Jerusalem has been shelled by Syrian artillery as a respond.

The Syrian gov´t said that 4 people died and 9 were wounded during the Israeli strikes.

It is not even clear, if the Israeli vehicle was attacked by Syrian forces or terrorists.

"It was not clear whether the attack was by government troops or rebels. But Israeli officials said suspicion was focused on Syria or its Hezbollah allies, since both are known to possess Kornet missiles."
