Well pretty good I'd say. It divided a unified country. We lost how many US service members and contractors to death and disability...we lost much credibility and good will all over the world...

I am sorry to say I supported that war for reasons other than laid out by the Administration and was horrified to see them take my support for their nation and region building silliness.

I will never again be so easily fooled

The worst part about that whole fucking debacle is that we were blatantly lied to about "no nation building". We know now for certain that there's no way you can roll an entire military into a country, blow it to smithereens, and then walk out leaving it in shambles. A full scale invasion, or "regime change" if you will, comes part and parcel with a subsequent nation building effort. That's just the way it is, and the defense contractors wouldn't have it any other way.
