I think that's far too simple a position. I'm sure even you know this.

The fact that a guy like Trump who yells "America First", started no wars, made peace in much of the Middle East, confronted a communist enemy, expanded the U.S economy while wage growth occurred, does NOT win, says all that needs to be said.

I don't think many Americans realize the massive shift that is happening as I type this. Trump was NOT the divider, he was the guy who was making it possible to win for the West. Appeasement doesn't work against dictators and tyrants, especially of communist stripes. Europe and U.S allies in the Far East understand this. Trumps loss in 2020 ensured all the rest of the dominoes were going to fall. These nations are going to decide "our best path to avoid peace is to side with China, NOT America". You champion and his followers are now insignificant.

Hillary lost, but it seems her and her backers agenda has only been delayed. I see the lack of patriotism in America, the Identity Politics and outward disdain by some for America and capitalism. The same disease Canadians suffer from as our central system strangles the life out of us.

I happen to think that single payer health care is better than one I get through a job where the insurance company has no obligation to me.

That's hardly "Free shit", it's a choice.

You might think public education or retirement programs are "Free shit", I consider them an investment.

What's your alternative to Medicare and Social Security, the two biggest "Free Shit" programs out there? Young people bankrupting themselves to take care of their elderly parents?

I think you start out with a confused idea. For most of history, pregnancy was handled by women. If the woman told her midwife she didn't want to have a fifth baby, they "took care of it" and no one made a big deal. The message isn't designed to find the correct or even the best solution. The message is crafted to appeal to the lowest denomination of fear that can be found. They do specific research to achieve this.

The GOP does it to a lesser extent, but the problem isn't the message or the messenger. It is the motivation BEHIND the message.

The left is fucking evil. Their motivation is obvious. They are willing to spend what it takes to make sure that the fear is real, that the chaos works to their favor.
