The Hill: Impressive US Economy

As the Biden White House continues to brag about the alleged success of its economic policies, government data shows the country is hemorrhaging full-time jobs.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of Americans reporting full-time employment dropped by more than 1.7 million jobs from November 2023 to the end of March 2024, the most recent month for which data is available.
That destroyed the liberal narrative.
No, not true, just another LIE.
Nope. Proof was offered.

No, not true, just another LIE.

When Obama added jobs, that's all the right wing talking points could muster up.
Part-Time jobs.......ALL part-time Jobs.

When trump LOST jobs, it was ALL excuses for the "Greatest Jobs POTUS ever" that lost 3+ Million job.

When Biden added job, same story, must claim those jobs are part-time jobs.

Your Talking Points are useless.
Numbnuts in May, the number of full-time workers fell by 625,000, the biggest decline since December 2023. Meanwhile, the number of part-time workers increased by 286,000.

These idiots are pushing part time jobs as a gain

I’m middle class and doing fine. Everyone I know is doing fine
How about all the people in your life that you open your wallet to pay for all kinds of services, whether they be groceries, fuel, etc.

How they doing you clown.

Then here's something else for you to consider:

Inflation is a “hidden tax” that doesn’t discriminate – it hurts everyone alike, rich and poor. But it is particularly devastating to the poorest and most vulnerable members of society who spend a greater proportion of their income on necessities and have no way to counter its impact.

Impact of Inflation on Ordinary People

The results of the President’s fiscal folly were predictable. Since Joe Biden took office, overall prices are up 19.4%, and it costs American families $11,400 more per year just to maintain the quality-of-life they had in January 2021.

The high cost-of-living is even forcing one-in-eight retirees to reenter the job market, according to a recent survey. As a retired nurse told Fox News, “If I want to continue to live my lifestyle, I needed to probably add a few more dollars to my budget. And so I felt like I had to go back to work.”

Here is how much more Bidenomics is costing families in a few selected states:

  • Wisconsin: $10,065 more annually
  • Ohio: $9,884 more annually
  • Pennsylvania: $9,404 more annually
  • Montana: $12,216 more annually
  • Nevada: $12,859 more annually

Between his inflationary fiscal policies and his regulatory war on fossil fuels, Joe Biden’s energy policies have hit Americans hard. The day after he was inaugurated, the average price of a regular gallon of gas was $2.38. By June 14, 2022, the average price was $5 per gallon. Even as that has since declined back down to $3.62 per gallon as of April 10, 2024, it is still 52% higher than when the President took office! The Bidenomics gas prices are also well above the levels under President Trump.

The cost of other energy has likewise soared. Since he came into office, home heating oil is up 44%, electricity is up 29%, and natural gas is up 27%.

The President was repeatedly warned his reckless spending plans would trigger inflation, but he ignored those warnings. Here is former Obama Administration economist Larry Summers on the President’s $1.9 trillion Covid spending bill: “There is a chance that macroeconomic stimulus on a scale closer to World War II levels than normal recession levels will set off inflationary pressures of a kind we have not seen in a generation.” Summers was right.

I was in that position in the Reagan years.
10% inflation
10% mortgage interest

You get through it

The US economy is not only strong but it is leading the world

Republicans/Trumpers are invested in claiming that we are doing terribly and keep talking about how “bad” things are for “someone”

But THEY are doing just fine. It’s always “someone else” that’s struggling

The truth is, despite paying higher prices due to the inflation (now passed) caused by Covid, we are doing well. In fact better than any country on earth.

And oh yeah, grocery prices are starting to come down

Face it folks

Biden has done a really good job
So globalists say we are doing fine? That is not a good thing.

Reagan?

9% wasn't an issue, it was the norm............people made interest off their savings.

How'd you get through Carter?

They, his ilk, are very selfish people
