Haha! Thank you. I am really trying to stay centered on what matters and try not to get distracted by what everyone tells me. Truthfully I am very leery of both sides. Again to be forthright with you, I am a lesbian and growing up I had felt I had an entire political party against my personal freedoms. I was in my peak of puberty during the fight for marriage equality. So as I got older it really confused me to learn how my personal beliefs that the government should stay out of my life aligned with the ideologies of the Republicans...but that was the same party trying to interfere with my life. So I am only recently learning the things the Democrats have done wrong because they supported my personal freedoms I didn’t research deep enough.


I agree that private sectors always give better than a government care. But I also fear for the lack of central control. I work in the medical field so I am quite opinionated on our medical system. I work for a privately owned surgery center and we are constantly screwed by these private insurance companies. But government run medical care scares the crap out of me. That would mean my facility wouldn’t exist. I want to figure out how we can make facilities like mine not suffer from being jerked around by different insurance companies while not giving the government undying control.

I'm a white, Christian, Trump-supporting, heterosexual conservative. I'm something many on the left hate. I have bashed many on the right for their intolerant, bigoted views of homosexuals. I'm of the view that gay people should be able to do anything that straight people can do, such as marry and adopt.

I do, however, oppose abortion because I believe that life begins at conception and I believe that abortion unfairly terminates the life of an innocent, third-party.

I think the fundamental issue with regard to healthcare is the fact that the American left wants to permit millions of able-bodied Americans to NOT work and then make other, working Americans to subsidize their healthcare, food, housing, etc. On top of that, they seemingly want open borders and for the American taxpayer to provide all the same freebies to foreigners.
Keep in mind, I'm married to a Mexican woman and our two children are bilingual, Hispanics. My Spanish kinda sucks, by the way.

What I'm getting at is that, I SUPPORT immigration, as long it's done in a way that doesn't damage the average American.

On top of that, Democrats refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement by turning over criminal illegals to the federal government for deportation. In some cases, Democratic governor have granted pardons to criminal illegals in order to prevent them from being deported. Even some liberal judges have refused to render a "guilty" verdict for fear of an immigrant being deported after being convicted of a crime.

The left basically doesn't want to deport anyone. Additionally, they want free education, medical care, lawyers, etc. for all that come.

None of this is good for the average American. I support immigration and I LOVE Mexicans, but the interests of average Americans should be the FIRST duty of any American politician or government official. If and when Democrats begin to put my family's interests FIRST (for a change), I might consider voting for them.

Every fascist regime that has ever existed REJECTED free-market capitalism in favor of a government-managed economy. The first tent of the modern right IS free-market capitalism and the rejection of over-regulation by government. Fascism demands endless and massive government regulations over business and so does the modern Democrat. Fascism demands federal control of healthcare and education and so does the modern Democrat. Fascism opposes free-market capitalism and so does many modern Democrats, particularly folks like Bernie and AOC, darlings of the Democratic Party.

Hehe! Yup although I too am white, I am an atheist lesbian women in my 20’s from California. We sound like a pair who could not get along, but I really hate how quick both of our sides are to discredit the others based on these quick facts. I think we’re all quick to hate each other.


Again with honesty, I truthfully struggle with abortion. I have a really hard time arguing with someone who is against it because I get the mentality of the opposing side. I feel wrong arguing with them. I personally do not believe life begins at conception based on my understanding of biology and my beliefs about the world and what it means to be human. I also know that you feel otherwise and to you it is murder. It feels weird for me to argue that one.

I do find issue with people who are against abortion and also against laws to help women with healthcare and childcare. If the problem is truly the child we all need to agree to help care for the child...a child shouldn’t be a punishment.

Ho Chi Ming, an ardent communist, was also a nationalist and didn't want his home nation of Vietnam to ever again be occupied by colonial imperialists such as the Japanese, the French and, yes, the U.S.

As for abortion, there is no shortage of people willing to adopt an infant - none. You may not believe that life begins at conception, but it cannot be argued that, abortion terminates a human life in its earliest stage.

As for belief in a deity, I recommend that you visit the religion forum here and peruse some of the threads, ask questions or, if you like, start a thread and ask people why they do or do not believe if, that is, it strikes your curiosity.
