I posted this on another thread but I think it has merit as a point of view on Trump vs. the screecher...

For me...Trump is 4 years...with a congress that will fight him if he does something they don't like...that would be a check on his power.....if the democrats take congress....you still have conflict....and a check on his power....

hilary.....she will appoint probably 4 Supreme court justices...that is about 30-40 years of rulings against the Constitution....and if she gets congress back...they will be able to push their agenda through.......

Trump is the way to go......

Funny how scotus appointments are only constitutionalists when they are ring wing nut jobs? Personal freedoms are not part of the wingnut judge I guess.

'The reason that message works is because a lot of people are, in fact, White Supremacists in their hearts. They have been taught that expressing such views is socially unacceptable, and they genuinely do not want to think of themselves as "racists". But they do think that all those lazy Blacks / illegal Mexicans / terrorist Muslims are inferior, and being invited to believe that those "others" are also the reasons for their economic woes is very attractive, reinforcing their White Supremacist beliefs while allowing them to avoid the label "racist".' "A lot of what I am seeing in the public's response to Trump -- in addition to the counterpoint between White Supremacy and economic populism -- is a response to a smart, highly charismatic sociopath. People resonate to Trump's outrageous behavior not primarily because they have a deep commitment to the misogyny or the racism that he exhibits (though that may well be true in many cases), but because they see him acting in a completely unrestrained fashion and getting away with it -- indeed, having people give him huge affirmation for doing so -- and seeing that spectacle touches on some of their deepest and most unacknowledged fantasies. People who resonate with Trump have daydreamed about being able to be as unrestrained and uninhibited as they see Trump being, but they never thought it was possible to do that and also be a successful adult. In Trump, they see that fantasy realized, and they want to make themselves a part of it." Tobias Barrington Wolff The Philosopher's Stone: A GUEST POST BY MY SON

'The other reason for this kind of error is based solely on the assumption that white people who have graduated from college are less racist, less anti-immigrant, less anti-feminist, less homophobic, and generally more tolerant of diversity than people who have not. As a college professor, I very much hope this assumption is valid, but I could find no solid evidence that it is. At least in political commentary, the question is never asked, and you have to wonder why not.' Misrepresenting the White Working Class: What the Narrating Class Gets Wrong

'MacWilliams studies authoritarianism — not actual dictators, but rather a psychological profile of individual voters that is characterized by a desire for order and a fear of outsiders. People who score high in authoritarianism, when they feel threatened, look for strong leaders who promise to take whatever action necessary to protect them from outsiders and prevent the changes they fear....
So MacWilliams naturally wondered if authoritarianism might correlate with support for Trump.' The rise of American authoritarianism

'Their book concluded that the GOP, by positioning itself as the party of traditional values and law and order, had unknowingly attracted what would turn out to be a vast and previously bipartisan population of Americans with authoritarian tendencies.

This trend had been accelerated in recent years by demographic and economic changes such as immigration, which "activated" authoritarian tendencies, leading many Americans to seek out a strongman leader who would preserve a status quo they feel is under threat and impose order on a world they perceive as increasingly alien.' above link

'The political phenomenon we identify as right-wing populism seems to line up, with almost astonishing precision, with the research on how authoritarianism is both caused and expressed.' Vox link

The socialists accusing Trump of doing what the socialists actually believe and do......

Several of my friends are old.

They are planning to vote for Mrs. Rodham-Clinton/Lewinsky.

Not because they like her.

Rather, because they're tired of the pissing and moaning of the current generation and feel they must be allowed to inflict economic harm on themselves and live in poverty (though equal poverty) in order to teach a new generation what to avoid.

They figure they can blow what they have on fun stuff and travel, reverse-mortgage the house and leave the little shits holding a very empty bag on which they'll pay and pay and pay in taxes.

Think they're onto something?

I get you don't like her , but she's qualified and not some unpredictable wildcard .

She isn't remotely qualified.....she is a criminal...

If Hillary gets in office, it is her job to usher in the Global government, the one world currency, and scrap the Constitution.

If Trump gets into office, sure it would be like voting for Hitler. Look what the globalists did to Hitler, they got their way anyhow. Through war or tyranny, they will have it, one way or another.

They will both be the end of the nation.

if speaking to me , my target is the moderate rino republican voter on the streets of the almost defunct USA , let her take on Putin and flood the country with 3rd worlders . Same would happen with jeb bush or roobio , kasich except maybe a little bit less '2aguy' !! Course a I support Trump or [MAYBE] Cruz but if the repubs mess up my good guys I am voting 'hilary' '2aguy' !!

Trump is a narcissistic sociopath---much like Hitler. He uses the same stale Hitlerite techniques too---encouraging violence against his political opponents, scapegoating, insane plans, etc.

Clinton has the advantage of experience---unfortunately, it is satanically evil experience. She is as pure a warmonger as it is possible to be and still fool the people. There has never been a war, bombing, intervention, murder, torture that she has not supported with her complete enthusiasm---just look at her vote on the Iraq War and her work tearing apart Libya and Syria, to name her most egregious crimes against humanity.

There is not much hope for America. Its historic devotion to hypocrisy and lying is coming home to roost. The downward spiral seems to be unstoppable.
