Show me a quote where taxing for welfare, social security, and Obamacare (or a clear similarity since obviously the latter two didn't exist at the time in any shape or form whatsoever) are strictly forbidden. Go on. Show me.

It's very clear in that quote. Taxes for "General Welfare" which (ever-so-shockingly, I know) includes welfare, Social Security, and Obamacare, are constitutional.

If you want to make the argument that they are bad laws that should be thrown off a cliff, burned with the intensity of 10,000 suns, and then obliterated in a matter vaporization device, you can make that argument. But I'll just continue to laugh at you if you try to frame it as unconstitutional.

Here it is chief - ALL of Section 8. Notice how it says defense / general welfare (which is what the term means - not socialism). They clearly cite the reasons for taxes - please show me which reason says "to feed the people" or "to give the people healthcare":

“Section 8. The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

It's set out in the format of

Congress has the power to X (collect taxes for defense and welfare);

To Y (borrow money);

To Z (regulate commerce);

To Q (coin money);

To R (establish post offices);

etc.

That's why there are semi-colons and not colons.
