The U.S. Is Pumping Oil Faster Than Ever

Is this propaganda from before or after Biden the environmental terrorist bombed Nordstream 2 and depleted our strategic oil reserves?

Drill, baby, drill!

The U.S. is pumping oil faster than ever. Republicans don’t care.

The GOP narrative has a major hole: U.S. oil production — already the highest in the world — is on track to set a new record this year, and will probably rise even more in 2024. But the ever-increasing flow of U.S. crude has failed to keep a lid on gasoline prices, showing once again that a global market drives the fuel prices that shape presidents’ political futures.

And that means events far beyond the nation’s borders will play a sizable role in voters’ verdict on “Bidenomics” — as global oil prices rise and fall in response to banking conditions in Europe, China’s slumping real estate market, Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine and the latest maneuvers by Saudi Arabia.

[snip]

U.S. oil production is forecast to average an all-time high of 12.8 million barrels a day this year and keep growing to 13.1 million in 2024, the federal Energy Information Administration said in its latest forecast.

This reality has not stopped dishonest Republicans from lying:

In one campaign ad, former Vice President Mike Pence pretends to fill his pickup truck and blames Biden’s energy policy for “causing real hardship” for Americans, while ex-South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has vowed to bring oil production back to the United States.

And Sen. Tim Scott (R.-S.C.) railed last month on the Biden administration, which he asserted “has shut down energy production in America.”

“Why won’t this President tap into our abundant energy resources here at home and bring down prices at the pump?” he asked.

In fact, though, oil production from federal lands and waters has risen on Biden’s watch, reaching past 3 million barrels per day last year. The high mark during President Donald Trump’s term was 2.75 million barrels a day.
/----/ Not all oil pumped is suitable for gasoline.

so what, we lost a refinery that was bigger than that expansion and we do not get the pipelines we needs to bring all that refined product in Texas to us in New England

The fact of the matter is, Biden and the Democrats with the help of RINOs raised the cost of gasoline and oil. They have raised the cost of all energy in the USA. That is not the result of the world market, it is the policy of the Democrats and Republicans, making commodities expensive, hence they make a fortune on Wall st.

US oil has always been more expensive than OPEC because we have the highest production costs in the world.

We are pumping more oil now than ever before

Shut up
No we aren't.

Please back up your statement with data, not a biased news article which is false, like the OP did.

In the link above, I provide data from the official US source. It shows that the Biden Admin has not yet even matched the Trump Admin's record production, despite COVID being over, and having over two years to do so, and oil prices are even higher now, making production more lucrative. There is no explanation other than excessive regulation by the Biden Admin.

Thanks,
Jim

you been told thousands of times, you wont admit that the facts are what they are, facts

We set the price of oil, as the largest economy, as the richest country.

How does the richest most powerful country in the world control prices? How does the country that creates the world's supply of money control prices.

How about quit being a partisan hack and just admit the truth.
Hey jackass, we do NOT set the world price of oil. Most decidedly not.

Supply and demand sets it. And when a major producer like SA cuts production that drives prices up.

No we aren't.

We are producing ON AVERAGE 12.8 m barrels per day.

During the Trump years oil production PEAKED ( that’s not an average) at 13

We are also producing much more oil from Federal lands now than during any part of the Trump Admin

Thanks, but it's not an AVERAGE. It is one month, and Biden's best month still does not match Trump Admin's best month.

Under Trump Admin, 12.8m bbl or more was produced for four months. Under Biden, only one month.

US oil production doubled during the Obama administration because the PPB went high. Rig counts were higher than they'd been in 44 years. Trump rode the tail end of that period. Demand crashed in 2020 and over 200 domestic oil producers went bankrupt.

The US has the highest production costs in the world because we have no economies of scale and most wells pump less than 50 barrels a day.

I guess you just woke up from the 2019. We had a COVID-19 pandemic
Everybody knows Covid was the reason for the drop in demand in 2020. Only those who want to Blame Biden ignore the fact that the Covid implosion is the impetus for most of of economic rollercoaster since.

Trump's Executive Order 13783 directed federal agencies to ease regulations slowing down the oil and gas leasing process and his Executive Order 13795 instructed DOI to limit offshore energy regulation. When the Biden administration entered office in January 2021, it prioritized limiting offshore and onshore drilling.

Biden has not even matched Trump's production....

That's nice, but it didn't change oil production.

Remember Deepwater Horizon? They farmed out safety audits piecemeal to a variety of companies to avoid knowing. BP is a crappy oil company anyway... US producers just aren't ready for Deepwater drilling.

As I have shown, President Biden made critical changes on day one of his administration that reversed that trend.

Why do you believe that is a good thing?
None of the EO's changed the trend that started in 2020 when production decreased in the US by an average of 2 mbd. Not only have we nearly caught up in crude oil production to pre-pandemic levels, but also our total energy production, including LNG, is record breaking.

Nordstream2 was 11 years in construction and development...and cost 3 billion dollars. The ROI should have come from selling gas to the Europeans. Why do you think Putin decided to shut off his revenue stream?

Despite Tater.
