To help defend their country.

Democrats, is this good or bad?

Assault weapons with high-capacity magazines, no less.

Why would anyone need a magazine with more than 10-round capacity?

They better also give them uniforms or armbands or they will be considered insurgents.

Most Slavic thing I have read all week.

15 minute course on operation/breakdown/cleaning.

Combined with issue of some ill fitting gear.

Instant soldier.

I could see even Democrats supporting the same thing if we had to go war with say... Norway. Stupid Norway.

When you start arming highschoolers, and any Tom, Dick, and Harry... You know your military has failed you.

Good.

If and when Kiev falls, civilian resistance must make it hell for Russians to stay.

This should have been done ahead of time, if their military leadership suspected it might come to this. Make them advance through an unpredictable hornets nest. Rather than turning the whole affair into a Turkey shoot. Once corraled into the cities, it's gonna be a fucking blood bath.

Kiev's (and btw for most Russians too) thinking was that Putin is just flexing and may invade eastern parts, not that he is crazy enough to go after Kiev.

Zelensky didn't want to induce a panic in his country and consistently downplayed odds of full invasion. He clearly miscalculated. Should have listened to Biden and our intelligence.

Miscalculated gravely.

They would have been better served with multiple lower round magazines then high-cap ones. Those jam more often and doubtful someone without experience could clear the jam quickly

Guns in the hands of untrained people what could go wrong. Hey antiguners let this be a listen to you before you start another gun grabbing narrative.

I love it when the communist left are stuck with a dilemma like this. It blows up their entire world view and VALIDATES the literal meaning of the 2A which they have been desperate to re-interpret to being meaningless.

Cry, lefty bitches. You are wrong about EVERYTHING!!!

Which is also no good reason to ban them.

If high cap works better, so be it.

My 40-round .223 polymer mags work great. They don't initially seat well, but once in, zero jamming and that's 40 rounds vs. 10. I don't need to fumble around in the dark trying to find another mag.
