And so my comments on Biden being able to shower gifts on the working class are because of the urgency of the moment.

Perhaps we should do a new thread on describing the insidious traits that lead toward fascism's takeover of a democracy. Referencing 1930's Germany is a good start.

Are there any similarities between 21st. century America and Nazism's rise in Germany?

Racism, police brutality, the people's poverty, gun violence on the streets. etc.

Lucky enough, or maybe unluckly enough, the president doesn't have as much power as needed to become anymore than a talking head for those who actually run the government and the country. Probably through the ownership of the USD.
People like Trump aren't put in position to actually make things better. Only to give hope to the masses that things will finally go "their way."

Trouble on the rise for who? The people who actually run the country? They'll never see or feel any sort of trouble. Remember, they control the money. When you control the money, the supply and the value, you have everyone in the palm of your hands. You can squeeze or you can open up your fist and allow them to breathe.

The government does what it does. And "we the people" label it. We label it all sorts of things. Most of the time, we label them wrong. With our government, there's little bits of fascism, communism, Marxism, free market capitalism and a whole slew of other things.
Put it all together and it's a melting pot of everything.
Problem is, most of those who stand under those labels, fight against all those under the other labels. This, IMO, is by design. It's like something straight out of Mein Kampf. Especially the propaganda used against the other labels.
