Might want to check into the rate at which election results are overturned through recounts. It only ever happens when races are ridiculously close. At best a statewide recount will change the result a couple of hundred votes. There is an even chance it will work against Trump's numbers as well. .

I would think the more important thing would be to review it so you know where the weaknesses are (in terms of glitches, issues or potential fraud) and prepare for 2022 so we don't have the same shit happen again.

I never have any issue with recounts. They are a crucial mechanism to insure faith in the system. This election has been relatively trouble free compared to the past precisely because no election supervisor wanted to be the one who screwed it all up. The fact that Florida did not screw up somewhere should be proof enough that everyone was on the ball because every one of them was being watched like a hawk by both parties.

GOP lost SENATE seats in AZ and CO, picked up a seat in AL - all consistent with how those states voted on Presidential election.

The only issue that has captured my interest is the inclusion of ballots received after the polls closed. I'd like to see the Supreme Court rule that should be knocked off. Additionally with many Republican controlled state legislatures claiming that the processing of mail-in ballots before election day will lead to fraud, perhaps with the results in Florida that attitude will change. Florida permitted their election officials to begin working the mail-in ballots 22 days ahead of election day.

It was a close election. One shouldn't expect 70+million folks to just up and quit.

Alaska allows ballots to be received up to ten days after the election if post marked by election day.
