I've said many times that taxing the rich more won't solve the problem. That's just stupid.

But to deny there is a problem is just as stupid.

Look, there is nothing wrong with the NATURAL accumulation of wealth. You invent a better mousetrap, you deserve to be filthy rich and to be taxed as little as possible.

But what we are seeing today is not the natural accumulation of wealth. We are seeing an unnatural accumulation which has been accomplished through the capture of federal powers.

For example, the Mortgage Interest Deduction (MID). The rube herd is programmed to believe the mortgage interest deduction = "I get to keep more of my money!"

But what they do not know is that the MID increases the cost of their house. It also increases our tax rates to offset the lost revenues.

Therefore, in actuality the MID = higher tax rates, higher home costs.

Now ask yourself, who benefits from higher home costs?

Answer: Home builders, commissioned mortgage brokers and real estate dealers, and mortgage lenders.

So the MID boils down to a massive government wealth redistribution scheme, with the rube herd thinking they are coming out ahead.


There are thousands of such examples.


Another example is regulation. Some regulations are created to make it more difficult for start-ups to break into an industry.

The government bailout of the banking industry prevented sclerotic and failing business models to collapse and be replaced by more efficient and effective businesses.


It is by these means that wealth is being UNNATURALLY concentrated.
