Tribal Epistemology

When you have a son who is always on the verge of bankruptcy, you don't cure the problem by giving him a blank check. Congress doesn't need more money. It needs to control it's spending.
You mean like how Trump, Paul Ryan and Mitch did when they had full control of our government?

Obama...this was before Trump won...it was a election

They were back before Trump took over...Obama did that for show...he always did things for show...hey did you see where Hunter and Joe got 3 million bucks from Russia for nothing?....
Obama kicked them out in Dec of 16, dope.

It's weird. Every 4 or 8 years the masses vote Republicans into power and their policies are very unpopular so they get voted out and then 4 or 8 years later people forget and vote them back in. So Republicans never have to change.

The whole system is fucked up. The left has to appeal to the far left and the right is kissing the far rights ass. They aren't appealing to us in the middle.
The fringes now have a voice. A seat at the table. They can now make trouble so therefore must be appeased. Pandora’s box has been opened and chaos is the new order.

Don't blame them. They want America to be a certain way. It works better for them if we do it their way. Blame the dummies who fall for their bullshit.

Yes the rich owns both parties but clearly the GOP is the party who defends the rich the most. Even though Trump put a slight twist on his message to the poor and middle class. Acted like he cared about them and most of them truly believe him. But let's be honest. The poor and middle class got raises, and corporations just jacked up the prices. And the rich got richer.

For example, they said illegals were bringing down wages. That's true. But right now all the companies who used to hire illegals say they can't find enough workers. And they refuse to raise what they pay any higher. So what are we to do? Seems like right now we need more immigrants. So illegal or legal, immigrants are needed supposedly if you ask corporations, and they will bring wages down. But right now, companies can't find enough help. So how comes wages aren't continuing to go up? Interesting.
Technology is rendering traditional labor sectors extinct. This is where we are in the development of civilization. Everyone needs to realize and accept this reality and educate themselves accordingly so as to avoid becoming irrelevant in the evolving labor force.

Those that can adapt will adapt. Those who prefer a more traditional way of life will continue to languish. They will become increasingly disgruntled as their way of life becomes untenable in the long run.

The key is education. Kids today should be taught to understand this social dynamic from a young age so they can plan accordingly. Now is the time to make higher education accessible and available to all.

They didn't spend 1/10th as much as Biden and the Dim run Congress, moron
FUCK YOU!

I hope people are smart and figure out it's not a good idea to have more than 2 kids. Sounds like it's just too expensive for average people to have more. And maybe with global warming and technology taking away jobs, maybe that's a good thing. So you may choose to have 1 child, raise them really well, because that's what you can afford to raise. Maybe have 2. But if you are middle class and have more than that, it's going to be hard setting all three of them up for success.

I like this because we are overpopulated. I'm going to stop saying because "I believe" we are. We are.

I agree.
The irony is that as economies grow with new tech, meaningful and substantive career availability shrinks. Either we have a cash economy or we have efficiency. We, (civilization), simply will not survive with the have nots circulating through various subsistence level employment opportunities in service of the haves.
This weakness was highlighted clearly during Covid and the recent resulting inflationary pressure. A modest 4-5% rise in food prices sent demand at food banks soaring.
1/6 was a wake up call. The disgruntled masses are at a tipping point where even modest pressure can cause further chaos.
As long as our system is focused solely on the extraction of wealth from consumers, we will be in a death spiral. There needs to be some equilibrium that allows comfort and economic security for everyone. If that means sacrificing tech efficiency for wider opportunity, then let’s do it.

Information is evaluated based not on evidence or a common understanding of the world, but on whether it supports the tribe’s values and goals. “Good for our side” and “true” begin to blur into one.

Blame Trump? Seriously? This has been the norm since the Clinton Administration. Partisans never let facts get in the way.

Socialism is not the answer for any problem, moron.
