The reason being is that DeSantis is the only challenger to come close to a serious challenge, and he's coming across as ridiculous and far too extremist.
If Trump then becomes the nominee then I would put his odds as at least even against Biden.
I'll also predict that Biden will be replaced as the D nominee close to the election but not sooner because he's a war president.
I can also see Russia, China, and the Brics rattling the nuclear sabres in an attempt to influencce voters to turn against Biden.
