It has now become boringly routine for brainwashed Trumper's to attack any USMB poster who dare criticize or even post a negative story on Dopey Donald. Don't expect any cover from moderators here in enforcing "personal attack" rules or staying on topic rules. USMB is a pro-Trump site with corrupted mod's. So, be prepared for whining and your thread to be vandalized.Dopey Donald Trump blunders again and hopes to diminish the outcry by announcing it during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dopey Donald Trump is disgracing himself with lies and blunders during his daily press conferences and had evidently hoped the pandemic would take the oxygen out of the political environment to allow him to escape criticism from both sides for firing the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community.
Another fine pickle Captain Blunder Dopey Donald Trump has got himself into.

President Donald Trump has fired the intelligence community’s chief watchdog, Michael Atkinson, who was the first to sound the alarm to Congress last September about an “urgent” complaint he received from an intelligence official involving Trump’s communications with Ukraine’s president.
Atkinson's decision set in motion the congressional probe that culminated in Trump's impeachment and ultimate acquittal in a bruising political and legal drama that consumed Washington for months. ...
I'm not sure that the mods are corrupt. But it has been obvious that the trumpsters are capable of responding to fact-based criticisms of their hero only with personal attacks and wild name-calling. It is boring and says a lot about their incompetence. They are sheep being herded.

Billy's nearly incomprehensible display of conspiratorial nutbaggery includes all the elements that make Trumpery so dangerous for the country. A blind acceptance of the completely fictional "deep state" narrative absent of critical, independent thought. A belief in the lies, promoted by Trump and his right wing media lackeys, surrounding communications between the IG and Schiff's office. A willingness to condemn anyone for the act of doing their job if that act threatens Dear Leader. And a cultist favorite, claiming the use of the mechanisms of government established by the founders to deal with criminal behavior and or abuses of power by a prez is a coup.HE was a deep state hack.. He helped Adam Schiff change the rules in the Coup attempt so that a criminal leaker would not be held accountable... He was a piece of shit from the word go.. HE was a co-conspirator in the coup D'etat. He and Schiff both need to hang along with a lot of others.
Well, it is a political forum. Duh. Over half the country has consistently polled at disapproving his performance for his entire term. Normally, moderators on social networks moderate so discussions can be conducted with members' articulating opinions and facts about political issues and topics. When moderators fail and allow vandalism of threads people wishing to conduct educational and fair debates are stymied and prevented from doing so. Discussions and debates become personal power trips and ego fuel for moderators. The platform becomes corrupted and lacks integrity and becomes little more than a stomping ground for extreme partisan politics. A small handful of crude, vile and low IQ uninformed morons are hence, able to destroy any semblance of fair and intellectual debate.nice twist. You are a moderator and don't see the difference between posters attacking MSMB members and posters attacking a non-member political figure such as a President. Trump doesn't need oversight by a bunch of deep state douchebags. Trump should fire them all - clean out the stables. None of them can be trusted. None of them are loyal Americans.Atkinson became Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (ICIG) in May 2018.[2] He was nominated to the position in November 2017 by President Donald Trump[8] and was confirmed by the United States Senate by voice vote on May 14, 2018.[9] At his confirmation hearings, Atkinson indicated that he would bring order to the troubled ICIG's office, which had a reputation for dysfunction, and pledged to revive a whistleblower program that had become virtually defunct under the previous Acting Inspector General,[10]saying that he would "encourage, operate, and enforce a program for authorized disclosures by whistleblowers within the intelligence community that validates moral courage without compromising national security and without retaliation."[5] Restoring the whistleblower program was a major priority among members of the Senate Intelligence Committee.[10]

Rep. Adam Schiff slams the “dead of night” decision to gut the intelligence community’s independence by firing Michael Atkinson.
President Donald Trump has notified the Senate Intelligence Committee that he is firing Michael Atkinson, the inspector general for the U.S. intelligence community who was the first to alert Congress to an urgent whistleblower complaint about Trump’s phone call with Ukraine’s president last year.
In a July 25 phone call, Trump pressured President Volodymyr Zelensky to open an investigation into unfounded accusations against former Vice President Joe Biden and his son. At the time, Trump was withholding military aid from Ukraine, a form of coercion for political gain that led to his impeachment in the House.
Trump notified the Senate committee of his intention to fire Atkinson and remove him from his post as inspector general of U.S. intelligence agencies, which will be effective 30 days from Friday, according to congressional officials and a copy of Trump’s notification in a letter obtained by several media outlets.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) called the “dead of night decision” a “blatant attempt to gut the independence of the Intelligence community and retaliate against those who dare to expose presidential wrongdoing.”

Trump needs to fire all the back stabbers. I hope he has a list of them.Probably not deflection of attention. Probably just the date circled on the calendar by the vindictive ass ever since impeachment voted by the house. Just a checkmark waiting to checked to settle a score. Trump believes it was OK. He thinks anything is OK if nobody finds out. Always has. If his idol Putin had been caught out like this, the IG would have been disappeared. Certain IG new it was coming. We all did, including you.Rep. Adam Schiff slams the “dead of night” decision to gut the intelligence community’s independence by firing Michael Atkinson.
