Trump Guilty!

Let me get this straight...you want to sentence the GOP candidate for President of the United States to 6 months of "house arrest"? Gee...how many months are left before the election? At least TRY and not be so obvious, Flopper!

Are you THAT afraid of Trump being able to campaign? I suppose that would preclude the debates? How about a gag order too?
House Arrest will not prevent Trump from running for president. Typically people under House Arrest can go to work as well as other vital functions. The judge can allow Trump to attend campaign events such the convention, rallies, and debates. This all has to be planned and approved and he would have to wear ankle tracking bracelet and stick to a schedule. The 6 months of House arrest would end just before the inauguration. Probation is more flexible but Trump would be required to report to his probation officer per the terms of the sentence.

I seriously doubt that punishing Trump for his crimes would lessen his support. In fact, it will likely help him. Trump supporters see Trump as the victim of an evil corrupt system. Electing him to the highest office in the land is a clear statement that his supporters demand a change that can come about only by authoritarian rule of a strong president.

We would start taking you guys seriously if any of you cold explain what you’re supposedly going to come after Biden with.
Could start with the boxes of classified materials stored in his garage for ten years.

Can also charge him with money laundering and bribery for all the payments his son and brother have received from China and Ukraine.

He’s one of the most insanely corrupt politicians in Washington and has been for decades.

What was Biden bribed to do?

So the number 3 guy in Biden's DOJ leaves to go run the prosecution of a State case against Biden's chief political rival but you don't see that as a problem? The Georgia prosecutors have meetings with White House Staff but you don't see that as a problem either?
Said guy had worked for the NYDA in the past.

Given that the subject is a presidential election and a former president, how can they "NOT have meetings with GA.

Biden appointed Jack Smith to go after Trump. That's not an "independent counsel" that's hiring a legal hit man with a long history of bending the rules to get convictions.

Um, no, this is how every IC is appointed, by the DOJ, including Weiss and Hur.

Obviously, an IC for an outgoing president is new ground, but so is a president committing a raft of felonies on his way out the door, which is what Convicted Felon Trump did.

You mean the ones a GS-9 packed into a box?

Except there's no evidence Joe got any money for that, and all those transactions were legal for work done.

Sell the country out to China.

He has voted for every stupid trade deal that fucked this country over and empowered China.
Also bribed by Ukraine. He pushed billion dollar aid packages there and got a few million Iin kickbafs
Who paid Biden to get these aid packages?

Either post a link to a copy of the receipts or STFU!

Like he was removed the last two times?
Donald Trump second term in office would be far different than his first term. He would not be burden with campaigning for re-election or political commitments. He would shutdown the federal trials he faces now and free "political prisoners" who attacked the Capital. I think he would use the power of the presidency to attack his enemies both democrats and republicans which would end his presidency.

That counts on Republicans actually having the courage to stand up to him.

Looking at people like Ted Cruz, (Trump called his wife ugly and said his dad killed JFK) or Nikki Haley, and frankly, I wouldn't count on them to stand up to Convicted Felon Donald Trump. They haven't up to this point. They didn't even after he unleashed an angry mob to do them bodily harm!

Yep, it's time to give in y'all, and let's rehabilitate Trump like every one of Braggs felons he's working with (you know the one's that mean old society created), and now the one (the mean old left has created), and so let's just give him back the white house to show the world this nation's sorrows for what it has done to him, and how it created him at no fault of his own.

Yeah it's time to join with the leftist and it's no criminal is at fault mentality, and put Trump in the biggest welfare "white house" down on Pennsylvania Ave, that this nation can put him in. Come on leftist put up or shut up.

Authoritarian rule - why does this site attract so many people as stupid as you?

Why would any Republican "stand up" to him when his agenda is doing the peoples' business?

As always, your entire premise is bullshit.

Thank you for answering that leftoid. I am so disgusted that people like him want to imprison Trump for some low-level expired misdemeanor. The “underlying crime” which led to a felony and Trump’s conviction still has not been identified.
The underlying crimes were violation of both state and federal election laws. Hiding the hush money payments and the Catch and Kill scheme were a violation of state election law and failing to report the payments as a campaign expenses violated federal election law. The statues are listed in the charging document. These underlying crimes turned the falsification of business records, normally a misdemeanor into felonies.

You may chose not understand this but it was clear to the jury who delivered only about 10 hours before delivering a unanimous verdict of guilty.

I would not want to be the judge in this case. He has to pass sentence and no matter what he decides, it will be condemned by republicans or democrats or both. Hopefully, he will disregard the fact that Donald Trump is a presidential candidate and delivery a just sentence.
