Trump is a threat to the American Republic

Little doubt exists that Donnie is a threat to the American Republic.
______

Donald Trump may be a threat to rule of law. Gary Herbert and Orrin Hatch visit Bears Ears. Bernie Sanders goes for the whole enchilada.

Happy Friday. Legal scholars from across the political spectrum are worried that a Donald Trump presidency would be a step, maybe a large step, toward authoritarianism, with his calls for a ban on Muslims, restrictions on the press and his threats toward judges. [NYTimes]

I countered a stupid argument and you helped support me, SnivelingGrizz.

The idiots are saying BHO issued a super EO giving him super powers, which he had not.

But he must be succeeding enough to make you cry. PM me and I will give you help in learning how to succeed here.

Poor Jake, you made up a statistic and got slapped, you'll be ok. Just rememb

You went with SCOTUS on all decisions when I was talking about EOs. You understand that?

Probably not. PM me, SnivelingGrizz.

No president could ruin our country you god damn loon.

As the far right

Some Double Down Donald spokesperson just now on the news chastised the mainstream GOP for not supporting Donnie's racism, sexism, and ethnocentrism.

I am pretty sure that I speak for millions of Republicans when I tell Donnie, "fuck you, I will never vote for a scumbag like you. You are the party of the Corrells, the CrusaderFranks, the Yurts, the HWGAs, and all of the rest of the scum trying to take over the party."

Donnie will not be president: count on it.

You speak only for all the douche bag Republicans who support open borders and crony capitalism.

Are you mentally unbalanced like Bass? I asked for the EO that gave Obama super powers, pointed out that he had far fewer than Bush, and you are talking about ALL scotus decisions.

That's unbalanced, buddy.

No president could ruin our country you god damn loon.
Sure, he could. Ever why not? You are a fool if you think otherwise.

This poor orange dope is no friend to democracy. He's made it abundantly clear that he rejects nearly all the tenets of American democracy. The worst two are the dictator-like treatment of the press and now his batshit views on judges, American judges.

Let's hope he keeps talking.

Dictator-like treatment of the press? Really, Isaac! Let's compare how Donald Trump treats the press compared to how Hillary Clinton treats the press...shall we?

Trump schedules dozens of press conferences where he takes questions from reporters without any stipulations on what can and can't be asked...and answers those questions without reading from prepared "talking points".

Clinton hasn't scheduled a press conference in over four months...only agrees to answer approved questions from reporters who have been selected by her campaign...answering with canned "talking points" that have been worked up before she ever sat down to do the interview.

So who it is that acts more like a "Dictator" when it comes to the press, Issac?

Hillary is no friend of free speech and never was. LINK

The evidence does not show that the Curiels were here illegally is the point.

Sorry, kid, you fail.

How? You have the judicial and the legislative branch to protect the country.

I don't understand why people are suddenly concerned over a president who asserts his OWN authority, without the regard to those constitutional measures meant to keep his executive position in check through the use of our "other" branches of government. Perhaps if we had a previous administration who respected the fact that he can't simply act on his own in an attempt to see how much he can manipulate the boundaries set by the Cobstitution, there wouldn't be a need for these "boogie-man" concerns over the direction our nation is going. A president who respects his own boundaries allowed to him in the first place, is worthy of respect. When we have a judicial branch that clearly defines and enforces the roles of each branch of government over their own political "ideology" in the first place, our executive branch would always be in check and limited in its ability to impose their own dictating authority from the White House.

"I don't understand why people are suddenly concerned over a president who asserts his OWN authority, without the regard to those constitutional measures meant to keep his executive position in check through the use of our "other" branches of government."

The other branches have contained Obama because he respects the other branches.

Trump has given absolutely no reason for the American voter to believe he will accept any restraints.

The Constitution trumps Trump. The other branches of government are there to keep him in check. I belong eve in the three branches of government being equal. If he went outside the Constitution there are enough people on both sides of the aisle to oust him quickly.

He can do no more damage than any other President. This destroying of America if Trump is elected is just nutter speculation fueled by hate.

I trust the Constitution and the process, it has worked for over 200 years. One man won't take it down.

I don't trust Trump to respect the Constitutional way of the US.

I expect him to try to break it in every way he can.

I am not willing to find out if he is containable.
