They were about to be released to recover....at home. They LIVED at those nursing homes. It is where they came from when they were hospitalized. The nursing home was their HOME. So where would they send them? Obviously if they live in a nursing home they can't take care of themselves. Were the hospitals supposed to put them up in a Ramada Inn?
