If Bush knew WMD were being hidden he had to know where and how much and what type.

As I said before every single item they are "leaking" is a known point that the special counsel was going to look at. Making the assumption that Trump is now under criminal investigation is wrong and based on zero facts. Even the Deputy Attorney Generals letter states this. Now that the Deputy Assistant has recused himself, due to the inept choosing of Mueller (because of his failure to find his close ties to Comey), there is no credibility left in this investigation. His choice to recuse rather than let Mueller go should speak volumes about the biases in this investigation, leaving the problems in place, should set off alarm bells that none of this is credible.

What Trump doesn't understand, and what seems to have only dawned on him slowly and incompletely, is that capturing the presidency isn’t the final battle for respect and prestige. Instead, it’s a chance to compete in a much tougher arena than he is use to, where the struggle for victory is governed by different rules than in the business world.

As a CEO, Trump press releases were just bit's of fluff that no one bother to read much less question. However, as president Trump's rational for his actions are analyzed and they must be reasonable and believable. One of the most persistent problems of the Trump administration is treating the media, colleagues in Congress and the public in a way that suggests they believe we are fools.
