I am sick to death of Supreme Court justice nomination hearings when we're told that So and So grew up poor and disadvantaged and therefore has sufficient empathy to be a judge. That's bullshit. And the male judge was not opposed by a single Senator! With Republicans having the power to filibuster a presidential nominee as they have done in the past, This Is Really Something!!
