We are experiencing the biggest scandal in America's political history right now.

So you admit that they DID ask? The judge basically shut that down and in doing so stated that a President and only a President determines what are personal items when they leave office.

Gee whiz, Joe Biden has been walking off with classified documents for decades, Marener! Yet he used his DOJ to go after Trump for that very thing? You know...the thing that you REALLY don't want to talk about?
Technically Judicial Watch didn’t ask Clinton. They asked NARA. NARA didn’t ask Clinton because they had no problem with Clinton having the tapes.

He was never asked to return them because Obama was a Democrat. They were established as personal documents because Trump took them home. That's all it takes, moron. Where did Clinton state that the tapes were personal documents?
You can complain about why you think he wasn’t asked, but it’s irrelevant. Clinton had no reason to state the tapes were personal documents because no one who mattered was challenging it. Judicial Watch challenged it but the judge ruled their opinion on the matter is irrelevant.

Nowhere does the law state that taking documents makes them personal documents. You made that up.

Well they obviously ASKED, Marener! A liberal judge ruled that they couldn't and in that ruling she posited that a President and only a President determines what are personal items.

Trump had been in talks with the DOJ for months over what he needed to turn over. What President has EVER had to "declare" what was or wasn't a personal document?
A judge ruled that it had no right to ask, no standing.

Trump was defying, not in talks.

Right, because Clinton is a Democrat and everyone who works for NARA is a Democrat.

Right, "no one who mattered" - to Democrats, that is.

All your doing is pointing out the two tier system of justice.

Whine all you want. Doesn’t change the relevant facts that Clinton didn’t have any need to declare the tapes personal since it wasn’t a point of contention between anyone that has any authority to make it a point of contention.

All your blubbering isn't going to get around the fact that the two cases are as close as you can possibly get. Trump was indicted because progs hate Trump, and that's the only reason. It's as blatant attempt to use the law to keep him from winning the election.

Get used to Trump as your next president, douchebag.

They're nothing alike.

The Judicial Watch case is a civil action originated by an outside group. The Trump case is a criminal case with the DoJ taking action to retrieve highly classified military documents which were inappropriately taken and hidden from the government.

These are night and day different.

Where did she say that?
I thought you read it:

Even if the Court agreed with plaintiff that the PRA authorizes the Archivist to assume control of materials that fall within the definition of Presidential records regardless of how the President classified them, and it agreed with plaintiff's questionable characterization of the materials, the Court still could not order the relief plaintiff seeks because the only enforcement tools provided to the defendant under the PRA are committed to the agency's sole discretion.

bripate emotes, he can't think cogently.

He believes what he believes.
Let me get this straight: You believe you can think cogently?

A distinction that makes no difference to the case.

You’re the one insisting that everyone act like highly classified military documents are personal documents.

No one in their right mind would assume such an absurdity.
Actually it was the judge in the Clinton case that insisted that a President and only a President has the authority over what is and isn't personal documents. I'm just the one pointing out that what was true for Clinton would therefore be true for Trump!

I'm also the person pointing out that as the ultimate authority on classification Trump could literally declassify anything he wanted to at any time he wanted to.

The law has changed but Oldestyle won't tell you that. Trump will be convicted if the charges go to trial.
