I spent the entire morning trying to log onto Feedly to get my daily news feed and couldn't. It wasn't until I did a search that I learned hackers have done something to shut them down, demanding payment before they back off.

Feedly told them where to go and has its on IT group working on it.

Is this going to be the next level of White-Collar Crimes?

A local church had their website hacked and re-directed to another site for a week or more even though they paid for the domain for several years. They did get their site back.

If your computer is ever hacked and if a number comes up on the screen, don't call or pay them. I know someone who did that and the people who were paid were still in control of the computer.

I was a DDoS attack, wich is completely different from hacking, the site was not hacked.
