What Biden mumbled "I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels”

Gee, I wonder why gas is expensive when POTUS says he is going to get rid of FF?

Derp

it will be necessary to do (energy diversification/transition) so eventually, don't you thinK?.
Of course! And given the current methods and volume probably over 50 years until either fossil fuels are exhausted or methods of reducing CO2 emissions developed. Either way the stupid comment "I guarantee to rid fossil fuels" is totally negative!
This idiot, instead of what a rational logical person would have said...
"I firmly believe that energy companies using fossil fuels have been working on reducing CO2 emissions and that working with them instead of making them the bad guys, makes more sense.
Working with them rather than passing legislation to rid fossil fuels, will allow them two alternatives:
1) The fossil fuel companies can find ways to reduce the amount of CO2 emissions and or
2) Work on slowly, methodically, means to replace eventually fossil fuels
."

Now if Biden had said that, we wouldn't have gas prices nearly 44% higher than they were under Trump!
Highest Biden's gas prices in 2022 were $4.06/gal or 44% higher than Trump !
Trump's highest according to the below chart..... $2.81/gal 2018, 44% lower than Biden!

Also, just a question for you regarding CO2...
Current world emissions of CO2 amount to 423.33 ppm (parts per million)
The atmosphere CO2 emissions were as high as 4,000 ppm (nearly 9 times as much as today's) during the Cambrian period about 500 million years ago.
Why and why are we still here then?

Gagging on Gaia

Why tolerate the degenerate Greenies' warm-and-fuzzy, primitive, mindless, and stagnant delusions about natural air? What the enemies of human progress call "Clean Air" is a man-killing atmosphere saturated with dangerous bacteria, viruses, and insects.

Nature Is a Crime Against Humanity
Explain to me how we are in trouble because the Current world emissions of CO2 amount to 423.33 ppm (parts per million).
BUT the atmosphere CO2 emissions were as high as 4,000 ppm (nearly 9 times as much as today's) during the Cambrian period about 500 million years ago.
If the earth will be destroyed due to above 423 ppm... why wasn't it destroyed when it was 9 times that?
Why are we still here?

500 million years ago

Fossil evidence shows that animals were exploring the land at this time. The first animals to do so were probably euthycarcinoids – thought to be related to centipedes and millipedes.

Nectocaris pteryx lives around this time. It is thought by some researchers to be the oldest known ancestor of the cephalopods – the group that includes squid – although others are not so sure.

.
While current world emissions of CO2 amount to 423.33 ppm (parts per million) "and at the current rate of growth in CO2, levels will hit 500 ppm within 50 years, putting us on track to reach temperature boosts of perhaps more than 3 degrees C (5.4°F) — a level that climate scientists say would cause bouts of extreme weather and sea level rise that would endanger global food supplies, cause disruptive mass migrations, and even destroy the Amazon rainforest through drought and fire."
And remember... 500 million years ago..
The atmosphere CO2 emissions were as high as 4,000 ppm (nearly 9 times as much as today's) during the Cambrian period about 500 million years ago.

Biden's guarantee: "I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019,

Electric vehicle (EV) sales growth in the U.S. continues to slow, according to sales data analyzed by Kelley Blue Book. In the first quarter of 2024, Americans bought 268,909 new electric vehicles, according to Kelley Blue Book counts. EV share of total new-vehicle sales in Q1 was 7.3%, a decrease from Q4 2023.

With less than 2 kWh per mile of energy consumption, Semi can travel up to 500 miles on a single charge

electric truck deployments Jumped to 1,948 ETVs in 2022. Combined with more than 10,000 deployments in 2023, the list tracked upwards of 12,894 medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks put into service across the United States in the past four years. (An average of 3,223 ETVs/ year.)

So what happens if say 25% of all the Trucks and buses are ETVs put into service each year till 2032 when Biden's electric or hybrid. Under the rule, 56 percent of the new vehicles on the market in 2032 could be battery electric.
Now the industry says $1 Trillion cost to :
  • Preparing today’s commercial vehicle fleet for electrification would require the commercial vehicle industry to invest upwards of $620 billion in charging infrastructure alone, including chargers, site infrastructure and electric service upgrades.
  • Utilities would need to invest $370 billion to upgrade their grid networks to meet the demands of just commercial vehicles.

Its been 18 seconds since you posted this same thread yet again today as you did yesterday and the day before going all the way back to 2019...I was starting to wonder if you overslept.

So are you one of the growing number of Americans who doubt Biden's words? He "guaranteed" to
destroy fossil fuels. But you don't believe him now? Maybe it's his way of saying things right?
