“The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President’s corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law,” Mueller wrote.

Congress has the authority & the responsibility to uphold the rule of law & The Constitution.

If I were to venture a guess, I would say that if the democratss in the house tried to arrest the attorney general because they disagree with him, republican prosecuters nationwide would flood the courts with the arrests of those they disagree with also.

Exactly....this is a road they do not want to go down. If an SAA officer physically approached the AG he would first recieve a verbal warning from the AG's SS detail. If he ignored that warning he would next be confronted. If he got squirrely and reached for his weapon he would probably end up dead.

1. The Mueller report cleared Trump of collusion and obstruction. You can whine about this or that, but the bottom line is that the Senate would never even take up an impeachment trial. No protection of Trump is needed.
2. AG Barr enforces the law, unlike Obama's wingman Eric Holder. Barr will be prosecuting the deep state actors who participated in the illegal coup attempt and for misusing the intel agencies and the FISA process.
3. If you have any examples of Barr not upholding the Constitution please present it, otherwise your whining is nothing but partisan whining because Barr is an outstanding AG.
