What is Aleppo?

You have to be really stupid to support Johnson, we're talking world class stupid
I think that's a bit harsh but Johnson himself not knowing the basic details that are discussed on tv all the time about Syria is laughable.

Johnson never had a prayer, he's a dope head and is obviously clueless as to what is going on in the world. One would be a fool to support him.
Polls say 10-12%. What's THAT about?

Johnson is a stoner. No one expects him to know anything.

Stoner. lol

Yeah. One candidate doesn't look at the Syrian issue battlefield by battlefield. And then you have ONE who helped ENGINEER the fall of govts in Syria and Libya. And another who was playing both sides of the room to get favors for his business.

Hillary doesn't remember a lot. And last night --- seems like she FORGOT her role in destroying stability in both Libya and Syria.

True enough.

Isn't it one of those new hybrid strains of pot? Popular in Den and Ore and Wash. Expensive, but it'll knock yer socks off.

Somebody should ask Johnson what he thinks about Benghazi. He probably thinks it's some sort of new espresso or latte.
you/we should be nice, he has a loyal following still. ten percent is a big deal. (ross perot had 19%).

"I guess I'm having Aleppo moment"...

Yeah.. Saw that and flinched a bit. But then I tried to answer the question and realized a couple things.

1) If I was running for Prez of the US -- it would probably be stupid to list "my favorite" world leader.
2) The only world leader I could think of that I admire would be Al Sisi of Egypt. Which would be a truly controversial thing to say. But I could back that up.
3) It's a gotcha question anyways. Because even the best informed people who are not admirers of dictators or flaming socialists would have a very time answering it.

So Americano --- who is YOUR favorite foreign leader? Quick -- no search engines.

Beats me.. We're you gonna say Maggie Thatcher? LOL..

It's no one in Europe or Asia or S. America for anyone who isn't a socialist. Probably Al Sisi for me. Because he understands the MEast situation, acknowledges the terrorism threat and is usually leading when the other Arab nations need herding.

But what GOOD would that answer do -- wasted on the likes of Chris Matthews?

This seems to me like another example of why Weld would have been better at the top of the ticket. Johnson has had a few bad moments.

With all the crap Trump and Clinton have said and may have done, the various scandals and accusations of corruption or even criminal activity, Johnson still seems like a far superior candidate. :dunno:

No, I was gonna say Josef Broz.

Partially true, most of Europe, Asia and South America are socialist. That's why they're so fucked up.
But there are pockets of resistance to that, like in Switzerland, Austria and Poland. For now, my pick is Hungarian Orban, you can guess why.

To his defense, he's right...

I just don't understand why he mentioned president of... Mexico?

OK.. Matthews would accept that. But at your 1st G20 Meeting as Prez -- you're gonna get a lot of ribbing from the 19 leaders of the world that you DIDN'T name.
