I asked my 85 year old uncle who is my god father and a Catholic priest this question when I was in Colorado a few years ago ( running a ski lodge)why am I special?

Why does God keep me alive when my wife and cousin and all my friends died ?

But that's not the point, Jesus showed compassion to adultery, if he showed compassion to them of course he showed compassion to all sexual sin like gays and lesbians, if he showed compassion to them of course he showed compassion to women that had abortions ..

Once again Jesus said in Mathew 16:9 he gave Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven, he let humans decide between us who gets to go.

That's the way a lot of things work in Christianity. Just another example of when some particular aspect of Christian teachings isn't popular with a particular group, they generally just ignore that part.

The error was in your politicization of religion which led to your faulty interpretation that early Christians were socialists. The Gnostics made the same mistake. You confuse stewardship and subsidiarity with socialism. So my point still stands, you behave exactly like an apostate who has become bitter and disillusioned by life. The religious beliefs of others has nothing to do with the state of your life other than serving as an excuse to keep you from evolving.
