If you want to acknowledge that banning AR-15s would make a tiny impact on the gun murder rate committed with AR-15s and have impacts on others (namely handguns, then other weapons like) knives then i think we could agree. Or, if you want to ban AR-15s cause you don't like the media sensationalizing mass shootings, then ok as well. Both issues could be addressed via other, more effective means that don't directly infringe upon law-abiding citizens' rights. Those are what i prefer to pursue.
