When Is Impeaching A President Warranted?

Lakota,

Incitement isn't my favourite word here...

Radicalise is!

Trump groomed his follower to believe that they had been wronged. We see it with posters on this forum. Trump got them to believe lies much like an Iman in Afghanistan.

They are believers now and the facts mean nothing to them. The violence we saw was years in the making. What he said on the day is nothing compare to the grooming he did for years and especially weeks before the day.

He attacked the media early because he had to get them to stop grounding themselves in facts. They have to get only information from sources he had some control over.

There will be studies done on his tactics in the future and we will relate them tactics used before.
This.

Was it warranted for a blow job?

Let's try to have a real discussion.

Reality check: No one has ever been impeached for getting a blow job.

I think it's pretty fuckin' comical that you want to have a "real discussion" when the premise of your "real discussion" is nothing more that ignorant liberal bullshit...

Actually it wouldn't even get him admonished. The President didn't not go to Epstein's Island while in office. Not once. And Monica was a legal adult, in a consensual relationship with Bill Clinton, who she knew was married. He didn't "sexually harass" her or anyone else.

CEO's never get fired for sexually harassing interns. The girl is removed and paid off if she becomes a "problem". You don't live in the real world if you think otherwise.

Monica wasn't sexually harassed. She was a political groupie, who told friends she was "packing up her kneepads and going to Washington" after she graduated. She revelled in her part as "Presidential Mistress", right up until Republicans outed the relationship in the media, and turned her into a national laughingstock, forcing her to testfy against Bill Clinto
So don't pretend that Bill Clinton was a predator here, or that the Republicans didn't abuse this girl and treat her far worse than Bill Clinton ever did. Monica nearly committed suicide over what Ken Starr did to her.
Monica is stronger than the insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol last week. So she didn't commit suicide after committing the act.

You mean where a president takes trips to pedophile ilsand on the Loilita Express and then comes back and sexually harasses a young intern on the presidential desk? Gee wouldn't that get most CEOs fired?

My big question about Clinton lying under oath. Why was the question allowed to be asked?

There must be a question of relevance concerning the investigation... The investigation had no guard rails...

Compare that to Trump, he managed to go these investigation and not testify...

Clinton lied and deserved to be impeached, the mitigating circumstances was that the question shouldn't have been asked. Monica had to have mother and herself threatened with jail if she didn't testify...
He was in the middle of a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by a subordinate. The fact he was diddling a subordinate with a cigar is relevant to that procerding.

There has never been anyone impeached for a blow job. Clinton was impeached for Perjury, where he lied for Greed. He didn't want to pay Paula Corbin Jones the money he owed her for Sexual Harassment, so he lied about his relationship with Monica Lewinski.

When actual crimes are committed of course. Clinton lied to Congress. Nevermind his sex life, the fact he lied to Congress is a federal crime.

So, following that reasoning, it was warranted for the lie he told. Not his sexual escapades with young interns.
What did he lie about? What was the lie?

Are you so naïve to the Clinton impeachment that you believe it was over a blow job?

He lied to congress. No one claimed he should be impeached over a blow job and a wet cigar.

Doesn't matter, Stupid. It was perjury and obstruction of justice in a sexual harassment lawsuit brought against him.

Clinton's lies were about his sexual relationship with Ms. Lewinsky. He should have been upfront about it when he testified and he should have just ponied up the money he owed Ms. Jones. Congress had a lot of reason to be pissed at him.

He said he did not have sexual relations with that women.

Biological, non refutable evidence showed he did.

So he lied.

Next question.

BTW....what happened to you? You used to have very insightful posts worth considering.

Now? You are acting as nothing but a partisan hack.

When you start the OP with a blatant lie you won't get a real discussion, Stupid.

Perjury and obstruction of justice were the crimes Clinton committed.
What was the lie that got Clinton impeached?

He lied about getting a blow job, which is what the Republicans impeached him for.

Bottom line, Clinton was impeached over a blow job.

I just told you.

Now....sure....you can say why did congress care if he got a blow job. I dont know the answer to that. But when asked in congress, he denied it

Now, that being said, I am finding you are no longer worthy of the debate because you are not well informed on the topic and all you do is ask the same question as if you never saw the anwer.

Take care.
